Here are some notable performances by white men at the Big 12 Indoor Championships:

60m - 5th Trey Griffin, Texas, 6.77 sec (6.72 in prelims)
60m hurdles - 3rd Trey Hardee, Texas, 7.83 sec
200m - 2nd Nate Probasco, Nebraska, 21.17 sec, 5th Trey Griffin, Texas, 21.56 sec
High Jump - 2nd Kyle Lancaster, K-State, 7'4.25", 3rd Scott Seller, K-State, 7'4.25"
Long Jump - 1st Arturs Abolins, Nebraska, 25'8.25", 2nd Fabrice Lapierre, Texas A&M, 25'6.25", 5th Trey Hardee, Texas, 24'4.25"

Congrats to all of these guys as they are all among the top 10 in the nation at their events and will be going to the NCAA Championships.

A few other tidbits: Fabrice Lapierre (from Australia) also competed in the 60m and ran a 6.89 sec, only 0.01 behind Probasco's 6.88. I didn't know he had that kind of speed. Arturs Abolins (from Latvia) ran on the 4x100 meter relay that won the Big 12 Outdoor Championship in 2005. Trey Hardee is a transfer from Mississippi St and is a hoss at 6'5" and 210 lbs. He finished second last year in the NCAA Decathalon as a sophomore and is one of the top hurdlers and long jumpers in the nation this year. What a stud!
