The Arizona State University Sun Devils today broke the
all time school 4 x 100 relay record with a time of
38.71!This is a incredible time. The previous record had
stood since 1979.They have 2 white sprinters on the team.
Both are sophmores.Steve Koehnemann and Domenik Peterson.
They will be a team that could win it all later this
month in the NCAA Championships.Koehnemann also ran a
10.53 in the 100 to finish 3rd.Both Koehnemann and
Peterson have personal bests around 10.40.They both
still have alot of upside with 2 years left.

Yes they are both white.Koehnemann's father used to be
a sprinter years ago too.He never was as fast as his
son is though.Peterson is mainly being used in the 200
and 400 but I would like to see him run some 100's.With
a time of 10.4,he is not that far off.The Pac 10 is not
loaded with that many quality sprinters. This team will
be one of the ones to beat at the Champs.
