Just a friendly suggestion. Mixed-martial art competitions are, IMHO, the best thing that's ever happened to highlight white athleticism. It'sthe most highly visible predominantly-white sportand it'sgrowing (I expect it will eclipse boxing, sooner or later).It is a sport that requires raw physicallity of the most robust sort out of it's athletes. While it is predominantly white, enough highly talented blacks (like Maurice Smith) and Hispanics (Like Tito Ortiz, or all the boys from Brazil) have competed to prove it's not just a fluke due to a cultural monopoly, rather it proves whites can more than hold their own against anybody in this most realistic of fight sports.

I'm a huge fan, too. I just watched UFC Knockouts Vol. 1 on DVD
(again) last night. You want to highlight athleticism? Check out
Matt Hughes knockout of Carlos Newton.. stuck in a triangle choke,
Hughes carried Newton halfway cross the octagon then bodyslammed him so
hard it knocked Newton OUT.



For what its worth, Hughes is white, Newton is black.



Like you said Savage, there have been enough talented blacks in the
sport to prove it isn't cultural, like the aforementioned Maurice Smith
and Carlos Newton. Lets not forget Kevin Randleman, Quinton Jackson,
Pat Smith, Gary Goodridge.. there are plenty of black guys who've
competed.

Yeah, I saw his fight with Trigg, Hughes' functional strength is awesome. The ironic partis that your average un-iniated person, or even anNFL coach apparently, would likely take a look at his body and say "not athletic enough.Edited by: White_Savage
