Kenny Buyers (Jr. 5'-11" 186) one of the few Starting White Corner Backs in the FBS....not sure how many they are in all of the previews?? Buyers was an Honorable Mention All Conference Corner Back last year as a sophomore...starting 11 games; Had 3 INT's and five PBU's... 5th Leading Tackler on the team...including a solid performance vs. #9 Georgia of the SEC w 10 Tackles! Grabbed the game-clinching INT vs. UNLV in the Heart of Dallas Bowl w/ seven tackles. And of course he was an EX-Walk-on....
Since 05' the Mean Green have started 13, 13, 7, 6, 5, 6, 7, & 8....No preview was done last year. This season it's back down to 6...but for some reason Buyers being a CB; makes this number more manageable had he been just another O-Lineman.
