The Hokies have started 5, 5, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 7 whites since 2005. An earlier depth chart had Daniel Dyer, a white RB, penciled in as the starter. However the updated chart has shown otherwise (listed 3rd), but he is only a sophomore and is someone to look out for in the future. Injuries have allowed linebackers Chase Williams and Jack Tyler to start, however they may lose these positions at the start of the season. For now the Hokies will start 6 whites and 1 asian (not sure if I should put this?).
Some backups include FB Riley Beiro, TE Ryan Malleck, OTs Mark Shuman and Jake Goins, OGs Matt Armeka and Caleb Farris. On defense LB Derek Dinardo could see some reps.

C - Andrew Miller 6'4" 300 - Junior
RG - Brent Benedict 6'5" 311 - Sophomore
