2010 San Jose State Spartans

The Spartans started 6, 3, 6, and 6 Whites since '06. Sad stuff, even for the WAC. Looks like that number will stay the same this season. Other Whites to keep your eyes on include QB Matt Faulkner, WR Josh Harrison, WR James Orth, LT David Quessenberry, RG Jacob Orth, LB Ryno Gonzalez, LB Braden Storaasli, and S Evan Taylor. Hopefully one of those WRs will end up starting and doing well like Kevin Jurovich.

Colonel, are the Spartans another one of those west teams that loves to stock up on Polynesians?

wa33, oh yeah. Big time. From looking at their 2 deep, they have at least as many poly starters and backups as they do Whites, maybe more.

It's amazing how many of these Polynesians play at the college and NFL level considering what a small percentage of the population they are. White defensive tackles have almost become extinct in the NFL and Samoans have taken their place.
