I hope to see Robbie Frey get into the mix, but I don't trust this team. Frey has made big plays Amazingly often for a guy allowed to touch the ball so little. But will they allow him to touch the ball more to see if it continues?..me thinks nuh.

DE Marcus Campbell out for season with ACL tear

Tough blow this weekend at summer practice, as defensive end Marcus Campbell is done for the season after tearing his ACL during a non-contact drill Saturday. The junior will have knee surgery later this week. Campbell had 24 tackles as a freshman in 2008, and was academically ineligible in 2009.

Campbell was a probable starter at DE once Randy Edsall decided to redshirt Greg Lloyd. UConn's depth will be severley tested now - other than Campbell and Lloyd, the entire post-spring two-deep at defensive end is made up of sophomores and freshmen.
