i had the pleasure of watching the genius that is the mind of Tulsa offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn last week against BYU. his offense is amazing! it is only a matter of time before he moves on to a bigger school, or perhaps he will recruit some talented white skill players to Tulsa.
he won a LOT of games and an Arkansas state championship with white teams in high school, and he's already got a commitment from the gifted quarterback from Greenwood, AR.
on the field tonight against the Sooners, sophomore wide receiver Jesse Meyer already has 6 catches for 87 yards and it's still in the first half.
keep an eye on Chris Chamberlain. he's the only real talent on the otherwise weakTulsa defense, but coaches readily admit that he is the team's best athlete and most impressive physical specimen.
he is very much like a bigger version of Eric Weddle, in that he is incredibly versatile. already this season, he has played middle linebacker, outside linebacker, rush end, free safety, strong safety, quarterback, and running back.
edited to add: here are the bios for those two players...
