Idaho Stateis one of the few teams nationwide that allow a white tailback to carry the ball, and they have a good one. But otherwise, it looks like the Vandals love importing athletes who are very likely to actually do some vandalizing.

Freshman Deionte Jackson, who was getting all carries over the more deserving senior Bird, suffered a high ankle sprain and is out. Bird will get another shot at showing what he got to NFL scouts.
