Zach Langer RB, Jenks H.S Oklahoma. I didn't see a thread for him yet. This kid might be my favourite RB prospect from 2011. He seems to have great instincts, a good burst, he's a cutting cannon and he displays power too. He could end up being very good.

He plays in Division 6A, Offer from Tulsa,
2009 stats: 284Car, 2,346 yards, 38 TDs

I love this guy too, Tough. He is an amazing athlete, and he should get offers from BCS schools this year. Langer's highlights are sick. Should be a good player for whatever college lands him. I think Langer, and a Texas RB, Cam McDaniel are two of the best white RBs in this class.

With the 6A Division he plays in, and at a powerhouse school, you'd think he'd have more interest and offers by now........
Here is Langer's Rival's Profile.

Great minds think alike! You will not believe it..was gonna start a Zach Langer thread last night; but it got too late; thanks for starting this ToughJ.Riggins...no reason Oklahoma or the other big boys won't give him a chance coming from 6A powerhouse Jenks...very impressive...I'm sure the Sooners would like to convert him to safety....but I will stay positive that he will get the chance to run the ball in college...if he were black it would be no question. Thanks TwentyTwo. Yeah, I know how you feel on just barely getting beat, it happened to me plenty of times with articles in the past. I got beat to 2 great articles on the caste system. One on Dillon Romain and also a great article about Scott Concannon (the "Cut Cannon") by a mere 10 minutes or so pretty recently.

Hey ToughJ, even when you do get "beat out" in posting a story, your input is usually the best, anyway. You have a great eye for talent, and are a fair arbiter, even ranking blacks ahead if they deserve it.
Zach Langer is a special talent, but is still very young. I hope that he reads this stuff and devotes himself to excellence for his senior season in HS. As you probably know, the Jenks HS - Union HS rivalry is one of the top HS rivalries in the country, and actually is shown on ESPN every year. My hope is that he continues the great work of other white backs and shows the DWF's that white/black doesn't matter, it's production and who's the best player.

I think Langer could be in the top 25 prospects in the nation (without the caste system) if he can add 10-15 lbs of muscle. He is a special talent! He's a different kind of back than McGuffie, but he's the same kind of freakish talent. He might be more comparable to Wegher or Burkhead's style ie. a blend of a Powerback and Scatback style agility. Right now Langer is about 6 foot, 195 lbs. I don't know his 40 or shuttle time, but he looks DAMN EXPLOSIVE for a back with so much instincts and power!

Jenks really knows how to pump out those white RB prospects. Beau Blankenship graduated two years ago and is now at Iowa State. I applaud their coach!

Blankenship is good (I think- if fair- he should fit into the PT rotation at ISU soon), but this guy is REALLY GOOD Celtic! I was blown away by his highlight video!

BTW, Thanks FootballDad for the compliment. I enjoy your posts as well! Isn't it a shame that the people running football in the U.S don't even attempt to be half as fair evaluators as most of us?

Edited to add: Langer's running style reminds me of a faster Johnathan Dwyer or Shonn Greene! Might remind me of Gerhart too- with a little more swivel than these guys. He has to add a bit of weight though- I think- to fit his style!Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

I agree Langer is a top notch prospect. He hasall the tools needed. Greatsize, speed and agility. What I like most about him though is his vision. He also has some wiggle to his running style and man can he break tackles!

I just found it rare to see a school pump out two very talented white runningbacks in a short period of time. Then again a lot of schools could do that, but choose not to.

Apparently Zack lost his starting RB job to some negro defensive end this season. I watched the highlights of their two most recent playoff games and Zack has become a part-time goalline back and an occasional fullback in the spread (despite being 20lbs lighter than his black replacement).
I wonder if Tulsa has yanked his offer, too.
