I don't see Freddy Adu on that list.

Leo Messi of Barcelona and Argentina should be on any best world 11 team. I'd ditch Steven Gerrard as well.

As good as Messi might be I'm not a huge fan and he is a midget. I have Gerrard in my team because he brings stability, leadership and his unique wide range of passing skills. If not Gerrard then it's Rafael Van Der Vaart (Holland) for me.

Oops! :) I misposted a baseball post here in the soccer section. It's a post on the team that did the best job of resisting politically-correct multiracialism: the 1958 Boston Red Sox. I moved my mispost over to baseball here: http://www.castefootball.us/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=7420&g et=last#95398

But my goof on the misposting prompts the thought that the true enjoyment of sports is a community activity shared by a people with a community of racial interests to share...infinitely more than it is a contest of tape measures and stop watches.

The truth of that communal folk reality of the true value of sports and sportsmanship means that I'd MUCH rather watch a soccer game played by the White 1958 Boston Red Sox, since they are kith and kin of my people, than any team drawn from foreign races.

That's why cheering on a Little League baseball (or comparable soccer) game played by totally average kids from one's own people is always a more rewarding experience than sitting through even "world champion" technical feats by alien races.Edited by: Jamie Kelso
