AOPA Magazine reports that a majority of aerobatic pilots surveyed occasionally experienced spatial disoreintatation. But of the pilots surveyed who also did serious strength training, ZERO of them reported spatial disorentation.

I can't imagine the mechanism by which one relates to the other, but interesting ain't it? Of course its that the vast majority of the pilot respondents were White...I have a suspicicion that because of our evolutionary history, Whites perhaps have both more need and garner more benefits from strength training than the other races, perhaps benefits in many unexpected forms. If you only have the time/inclination for one form of exercise, strength training probably needs to be it.Edited by: White_Savage
