Absurd. How much longer will they try to squeeze juice out of this lemon of a story? God, I wish one honest journalist with a mainstream venue would point out that Blacks are grossly over-represented in professional sports and give the factual demographic statistics to prove it. But of course, the editors would squash it before it ever saw the light of day....
I am actually quite pleased to see the 250+ reader comments at the end of the article. I think the casual fans (sheep) are finally getting fed up with this non-stop propaganda that ESPN facilitates. Read for yourselves:

Yes one of the first comments was people of color are represented in baseball. Maybe even overrepresented if you go by the pure math of demographics. Beyond the very rare story of about the dearth of white tailbacks or corners in the NFL, nothing is talked about like this. Also when they do these rare pieces the writer never states that a piece of Americana is being lost in the process......

It is stories like these which keep the enemy in business. They need to whine about the lack of dominance of their pets in selected places in order to get a paycheck. The day when white males cease to exist in these places is when they'll quit their day jobs.

Wow, I really thought the vast majority of whites bought into this crap. I guess there is a limit to how much white guilt a man can have.
It's very refreshing to see so many people getting angry and speaking out on a public forum about one sided black racism and sports. I am gonna post a link to caste football to get more peoples attention and give them a further voice to talk about this insanity.
Why aren't people from other countries who are black considered in Jackie Robinson day anyway? They weren't allowed in the major leagues before 1947 either.
The reality is that there are lots of blacks playing baseball. There is a lack of Americans. No one is complaining about that. The Caste System in baseball is different from the system in football and basketball because it isn't so much about racial origins as it is about "multiculturalism." The league builds "baseball academies" in the Dominican Republic and doesn't really consider college baseball seriously(is it because of metal bats?)There used to be the black supremacy stuff, but now it is all about trying to be "multicultural." The powers that be want to make Spanish, the language of the league.
