Mike Haas had 5 catches for 99 yards in a big win today over the Washington State Huskies. The game was never really close so he could have had alot bigger game but he should still stay in the top 5 in receiving yards per game.

Mike Haas had another good game today against the Arizona
Wildcats. He had 5 catches for 93 yards.Mike now has
891 yards in only 8 games. He is averaging 111.4 yards per
game. All this from a former walkon who is double teamed
everygame.

Another big game against the Number one team in the country. No matter who Haas plays against,he has proven he is the star of the team.Mike had 8 catches for 105 yards today. He now remains the 3rd best receiver in the
nation & still might be the best when its all said and
done.He is one of only 3 receivers in the country with
over 1000 yards receiving.Haas is at 1010 yards for the
year so far!Even Heisman hopeful B. Edwards of Michigan doesn't have 1000 yards yet.Can we get some publicity for
this kid out of Oregon State.Mike Haas is the man!

That's particularly impressive because that game was played in heavy fog.

It really irked me how the color commentator (with a
Greek name, definitely don't remember it) was so
perplexed at how good he is. "It's just so weird!"
Geez. Is it so weird that a white guy can be so good?
Apparently. Of course he never compliments his
speed- in fact he says that he isn't as fast as some
other player (forgot that, too). He just repeatedly
communicates how baffled he is at how he does it.
You're the expert. Figure it out, dumb*ss.

A white athlete like Hass- and smallish, on top of it-
can never live up to the "Mandingo Mystique," as I like
to call it, that is so completely ingrained in the
psyche of American sports. It doesn't matter how
good he is, he can't conform to that ideal because of
his skin color. That's why Forsey was called a water
boy.

With 1 game to go in the regular season,Haas has 1120 yards and is 4th in the nation in receiving. He could end
up anywhere from a 1st to 5th in the nation depending on
his last game against rival Oregon.Mike has had a incredible year and if he was black, would have benn talked about in Heisman talk.I hope he comes back for his
senior year and wins it or at least the Bilietnokoff Award as the nations best receiver.Haas will be the next
Wayne Chrebet if given the chance. What a year!

In the last game of the regular season today,Mike Haas helped the Oregon State Beavers beat the Oregon Ducks to
advance to a bowl game.Mike had a great game with 8 catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns!Haas finished the season as the 2nd leading receiver in the nation. He ended up with almost 1300 yards. The guy that lead the country had 24 passes thrown his way or almost 2 extra games over Mike. We will have to wait and see who the
Beavers will play in a bowl game. One thing is for sure,Mike Haas as always will be the star to watch!

Oregon State blew out Notre Dame today with Mike Haas
accounting for 93 yards receiving.Haas has a difficult
decision on whether to jump to the NFL or stay for his
senior year. His qb is graduating and will play on Sundays. Can a young qb get him the ball next season on
a consistant basis. If not,he might fall or not get drafted at all.Mike has 2 straight 1000 yard seasons and
will have a 3rd next year only if they have a good qb.
It's a tough decision for one of the top 5 receivers in
all of college football.

Watching USC dominate the last 2 years in the PAC Ten
got me to thinking.Would Haas even be playing if he
were at USC.I give Oregon State credit for seeing how
talented he is.Mike is the best receiver in the whole
conference and probably in the whole nation.I really
hope that the Beavers are good next season. It is very
hard for Haas to get much recognition playing up there.
Even more so if they have a bad team.Good luck to Mike
Haas next season. He should be considered for the
Heisman.

I hope Haas can have another huge year.He was clearly
one of the very best of the best receivers last season.
It will be tough with a new qb but Haas will find a way
to get it done. They need to hype this kid for the
Heisman. It's too bad Anderson didn't have one year left
because Oregon State will probably struggle without
him and that would kill Haas's chances.

Collegefootballnews.com did say he is one of the top deep threats in the country. Definitly a player who can make an All American team.

collegefootballnews.com totally dissed Haas giving him the typical white WR scouting report. "crisp routes, won't scare any CBs lining up across from him, not very athletic". Just don't read it because it will just piss you off, as I'm writing this I'm still upset.

What football games are they watching. He just about led
the nation in receiving. He blows by cb's and the defense
with ease and man can he jump.Who the hell pays these
guys to write this crap. What a complete joke!I'm pissed
off.Just like all of the Matt Jones doubters!

I read quite a bit in Lindy's Southeastern college magazine last night, and became PO'd myself. They were quick to limit the skills of any white playing a "black position."

Good to see collegefootballnews.com put down Mike Haas as the star of the team. I'm guessing Mike will have a monster year this season and possibly win the Bilitnikoff Award as the nation's top WR.

Why isn't Oregon State hyping this kid for the Heisman?
What does he have to do to be considered possibly the best
receiver in all of college football.Get this kid some
p.r. and get his name out.I just hope the new qb there can
get him the ball enough because Haas is unstoppable.

Oregon State started off their 2005 season with a big win today behind the main man,Mike Haas.He had 9 catches for a total of 156 yards and a touchdown. He could have easily had 200 yards if the game were close.Mike had 100 yards receiving at the half!!Mike Haas is a incrdibley gifted wide receiver who will star on Sundays next year. You can count on that.He is just too good to be over looked similar to Matt Jones.Way to go Haas.

One of the games to watch this year is tommorow.Mike Haas and Oregon State play against Boise State. It should be a great game. It's hard to choose sides but I will go with Oregon State in this one.I think they have a good chance at winning the Pac Ten and going to the Rose Bowl. This would put Haas on the national spotlight!

Way to go Haas and Oregon State.I love the Beavers.lol.Mike Haas had 11 catches for 177 yards and a touchdown today in the Beavers come from behind victory over Boise State.I hate to see the Broncos lose but Haas and this team could play in a BCS Bowl.I saw a stat tonight watching the game.Mike Haas is the only receiver in Pac Ten History to have three 200 yard games in his career and he is only a junior!Maybe the best receiver to ever play in the Pac Ten and he had to walk on.What a joke but he is having the last laugh! What a monster game!

The late PFW analyst Joel Buschbaum used to say that the Pac 10 was the closest college conference to the NFL.

Mike Haas had 9 catches for 163 yards today and a touchdown. It was a blow out loss for the Oregon State Beavers and he didn't even play in the 4th quarter! This
kid is unbelievable!I have rarely seen a receiver who is always open. The announcers even kept talking about how hard he is to cover and how his runs after the catch are outstanding. They said he would be a great 3rd receiver on any NFL Team.I say,why not a 1st receiver.Tell me who in the country can get between 150-200 yards receiving game after game year after year.He is simply the best receiver in the nation.Oreg.State also has a new qb and no running game. They are lucky to be 2-1.If it weren't for Mike Haas, they could be 0-3.Haas for the Heisman!

Another huge game for Haas with 7 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown. He continues to amaze everyone.Barring injury,he will lead the nation in receiving and should be a first round pick if any NFL Team has any common sense.
