Thanks for the news, Moose. Of course the reaction by the MSM would be *yawn* another fringe sport that only whites bother with. If blacks were interested, they would DOMINATE, but all of the best are in football, basketball and sprinting"!!

LOL...indeed. Since WSM's inception in 1977, a "soopa afflete" has only placed in the top 3 ONE single time (O.D. Wilson in 1991, 2nd place). Ironically, Wilson died of a heart attack (age 37) just a few weeks after finishing 2nd in the 1991 WSM competition.

We need to get more blacks involved in the sport and then it will be "exciting" for the DWF's. Then we will know the best athletes are competing. Blacks are so far behind in strength athletics that it's downright scary. Occasionally you will find the black freak with great strength but still nowhere near the level of Mariusz and the other strongmen.

I missed the original ESPN2 airing of this contest on January 1st.

It will be re-aired next Tuesday from 6 PM to midnight.

Damn! I watch so little tv that I completely forgot about this. Thanks for the heads up Deadlift. I'll be sure to watch on Tuesday as it's one of my favorites and one of the few decent programs left on television.

Aw come on, wa33! You know dabruddas just ain't interested in being in these events, because we all *know* that if the darkies were interested enough to participate in these events, they would completely dominate! :rapture:

The supa affletics have the occasional worlds strongest man competitor. Mark Felix comes to mind. He makes it supa affletic.
