On March 28 Krzysztof Wlodarczyk will try to take Giacobbe Fragomeni's WBC cruiserweight belt away. Another all white title fight. I must admit I am really excited about possibly having 2 Polish cruiserweight champions. Another good fight to look forward to.

It's gonna be tough for Wlodarczyk to get a decision in Italy. He'll have to
either stop Fragomeni or dominate him. Wlodarczyk has won in Italy
before knocking out Vincenzo Rossitto who would later give Banks(who's
fighting Adamek) all he could handle.

Fragomeni knows how to use his 5'9 height to his advantage and swarm
taller opponents. He never takes a backward step and is tough as nails.
He pushed David Haye to the limit in their fight.

Wlodarczyk has the advantage in power and youth being about 12 years
younger at 27. But the one thing that could come back to bite him
especially on foreign soil are his periods of inactivity in certain rounds.

I wish both men good luck. This will be a war!

If Wlodarczyk picks his shots he could possibly stop a tired Fragomeni.
Unless of course he doesn't let his hands go then Fragomeni will outwork
him and win the decision.

Wow! This is like a dream fight. I think Wlodarczyk has the goods, but Fragomeni is so tough, if Krystof is not 100%, he's going to get beat. I don't care who wins, I like both fighters so much.

Promo vid for the fight
Giacobbe Fragomeni vs Krzysztof W³odarczyk

I've read conflicting reports regarding the date of the fight. On one site it says the fight takes place March 28th then on boxrec it says April 18.

Does anyone know when the match is taking place?

I think it was originally scheduled for Mar 28, but has been resheduled for April.

I don't usually root for one or the other when white boxers fight, but this time I'm rooting for Wlodarczyk. Only a small percentage of boxers have one-punch KO power, and he's one of them. And he's the younger fighter, another loss would hurt his career at this point.

Wlodarczyk, still only age 27, has 31 KOs and has only ever lost two very close decisions, and he's only been down once in 43 fights. I hope he receives a fair shake in Italy in the case it goes to a decision, but I don't think it will - I think he will stop Fragomeni in a later round.Edited by: JD1986

Wow. I was looking forward to this fight. Did either fighter get injured?

It has something to do with Wlodarczyk having made a request to the WBC that he fight someone else for an interim title - they are waiting for an answer.

I re-watched the first Wlodarczyk-Cunningham fight. There was really nothing controversial about it at all, the Polish fighter clearly won.Edited by: JD1986

They were showing when Haye fought Fragomeni. Haye's face looked pretty bad. I really don't know what the hype is behind Haye other than he is black. He throws punches wildly and will not be able to do that against Klitschko. Fragomeni gave him all he could handle at 5'9. What is he going to do to a guy who is 6'6?
