Well, since Wlad's next opponent is Povetkin and Vitali's is Sosnowski, it is certain that white fighters have the WBC, WBO, IBF and Ring heavyweight titles for many months to come.

I think Wlad will fight only one more time this year, although I'm hoping he'll fight a third time in late fall (after Povetkin in summer).

Vitali wants to retire after this year. He'd like to fight David Haye in the fall. Will Haye chicken out a third time?

Haye will duck either brother unless the purse will be huge ie 10 million US dollars+. He will probably make about 4million to wrestle with Ruiz. So to risk his title for less than that it would be economic suicide for him. Really if he goes on and takes on hand picked foes his marketing ability will drop and he will be forced to fight Wlad at some point. I just don't see the fight happening until he is economically forced to fight Wlad.

Man what a week, the exhilleration of Wlad's win and the anger and sorrow of the Democrats passage of Deathcare.

On to the positive. Wlad is truely great. He toyed with a good and atheletic black American fighter in Chambers. Chambers is quick and has great boxing skills albeit no power. Wlad's cat like reflexes to avoid almost all of Chambers punches surely discouraged and tired Chambers, and made him submit.

Throughout the last half of the fight, Wlad threw several murderous right hands, if connected would have possibly sent Chambers to the hospital. Chambers to his credit was able to avoid almost all of those punches. It wasn't till the end with the insistance of Manny Steward that Wlad step on the gas and close the show, which he did.

As mentioned earlier Wlad demonstrated great reflexes and improved stamina as evidence by the last four rounds. It is incredible that a man of his size has the agility of a light heavyweight in movement. He showed great determination in breaking down a fighter in Chambers who has great movement and defensive skills.

I was throughly impressed. And I suspect that Oscar De la Hoyas Jews at the Ring magazine seem to suggest as evidence by Rosenthual's piece of Wlad's victory. He states that Wlad may rule for awhile and maybe become the most dominate heavyweight fighter since Joe Louis.

Westside, Chambers did end up in the hospital. I posted a link earlier in this thread.

Those who say that Wlad doesnt get any press cause his fights are boring (and not cause hes white) do have somewhat of a point, but the fights are usually a bit dull because of Wlads opponents and not because of Wlad himself. He is so superior to everyone else that the other fighters just crap themselves and the fights end up being a non event.

If Tyson and that lot were around and in their prime now we would have exciting fights that the media absolutely could not ignore, and Klitshko brother domintation!

I only watched round 12 as I was at my dad's birthday party. I was thoroughly impressed with how much Vlad had left in both his legs and punching power in round 12. He is the greatest HWT of all time. An Ali or Tyson in their prime wouldn't stand a chance against Vlad right now. It's hard to find a single round of boxing that Vlad has lost in his title defenses and the same could be said of his brother. That can't be said about any HWT in the history of boxing.

It's funny how the drunkin'idiots out there still criticize Wlad. They say they want a dominant heavy which is what the Klits are but in their pathetic minds they are not dominant enough.I guess every one of their fights should end inside 3 rounds. They claim the Klits are dull.Wlad and Vitali have perfected the art of hit and not being hit.Just look at the faces of some of their opponents after a fight either that or they're lying unconscious on the canvas.I suppose they want the Klits to be all-out brawlers like Arturo Gatti and if that's how they fought the complaint would be that they have no defence. The fact of the matter is the Klits are white and the DWF can't stand that.Wlad,Na Zdrowie.

Help put my mind at ease. "The Klits"Â￾ is an acceptable way to refer to Wladamir and Vitali? When I first saw it used on the chat of justin tv, I thought it might be a little derogatory.

I don't like it myself.

You might try this test. Walk up to Vlad, no, Vitali (he's the mean one) and say "Hey what's up Klit?"

You might get your answer right then and there.Edited by: The Hock

No it is not acceptible.  "Clit" is the slang word for clitoris.  I have strongly objected to this every time I've seen it on all the wigger boxing forums, and, naturally, been banned, as usual, for my trouble by the head wiggers in charge.

Not since Babe Ruth dominated baseball in the 1920's has anyone dominated a sport as have the K brothers.  Despite the constant litany of the controlled US jewsmedia, they are competing in the strongest heavyweight boxing era ever.  Endlessly media hyped up boxing fakers like Cassius Clay alias M. Ali never even faced any Russians or eastern Europeans, or Cubans either for that matter, like Teofilo Stevenson, or the Russian fighter, Vysotsky, who beat Stevenson twice, or black Africans either. Heavyweights are much bigger and stronger today. Clay couldn't even beat guys weighing in the 180's, like Henry Cooper and Doug Jones - and Alonzo Johnson fer pete's sake, without cheating and crooked judges. The heavyweight championship is a much more authentic WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP today than it ever was before, and the amazing Klitschko brothers not only face all comers, many previously undefeated, or never having been knocked down before, like Chambers, and they not only win every fight but they win every single round doing so, and usually they don't even get their hair mussed in the process!

Excellent post WW! I couldn't have said it better. The black boxers of decades ago weren't facing any of these Europeans. If the Russians and Eastern Euros were involved in boxing in the 60's,70's and 80's the history of boxing would be completely different. Fighters like Ali, Norton, and Holmes would be irrelevant.

Can you imagine the Africutioner against a short fighter like Frazier?

I predict Joe would be eating jab all night. Unless Joe got Wlad tired and somehow got inside, I don't see it being much of a contest.

I picture the same result against Marciano, although with his chin the Rock might try to just battering ram his way through the jabs to deliver a fatal uppercut. That might work on Wlad but it would be harder against Vitali.

Against Ali, I think Wlad would knock the black out of him.

I am wondering about the Povetkin fight. Teddy Atlas was commenting on his new protoge and said some things that could be taken to mean that he feels Povetkin is not ready for Wladimir. Teddy was actuallm saying some complimentary things about Dr. Steel hammer.

Atlas is a moron. There isn't a fighter on this planet that is ready to fight either Klitschko.

I totally disagree Hock. Chambers almost lasted all 12 rounds and Povetkin is a much better fighter than Chambers. A Klitschko-Povetkin fight would go the distance for sure. I even think Alexander could win a few rounds.

Povetkin is the future of the HW division when Wlad retires but he's going to take a serious beating fighting Wlad. I just hope Teddy will throw in the towel so he doesn't take an unnecessary beating that affects the rest of his career.

Don't get me wrong. I think Povetkin is a very good fighter. I can see your reasoning, but Chambers is an apple and Povetkin is an orange. And Vlad is a, well, Godzilla at this point. I don't believe Povetkin has the style to survive Vlad's offense for as long as Chambers was able to, but Povetkin will make it a better fight while it lasts. Edited by: The Hock

Povetkin beat Chambers and is a better fighter than the Great Black Nope. That being said, styles make fights and from what I've seen of Povetkin he is a tough, straight ahead banger.

He is a gold medalist and might be the third best heavyweight on the planet. But for a banger he is small (about 6'2, 220). Wlad will simply pick Alex apart with that jab.

Also, Povetkin inexplicable hired Teddy Atlas as a trainer. Atlas falls out with all his charges (Lalonde, Moorer, Maske) and did not do much for Micahel Grant and Elvir Miriqi in recent years.

Povetkin will lose -- likely by TKO - but hopefully will learn from this fight. Maybe he will even get a new trainer like Freddy Roach or Manny Steward.
