This kid also has won back to back Illinois state championships! Doesnt have 4.3 /4.4 track speed but half of his yards were from runs after the catch. So speed isnt an issue. Kid also can jump to the moon!

Josh Orsino is an incredible receiver and has a huge number of D II offers but inexplicably has not one D1 offer.
Another super wr Daniel Braverman out of Florida has signed on to play for Western Michigan of all places. He had some serious D1 offers including Oklahoma State and Nebraska.
On another front Jordan Westerkamp a Nebraska signee only has 4.5 speed but I have never seen a quicker wr get off the line like him and he catches everything and is very elusive and fluid after the catch. If Nebraska gets a throwing qb some year he is going to be a first round draft pick. He reminds me of Randy Moss with better route running ability and no baggage.
Also rb/wr Joe Hansley out of Colorado has signed with Colorado State as a wr but with his running ability he is going to be dangerous. Colorado State has been very white friendly with white wr's like the Borcky brothers , Geoff Turner, David Anderson, speedy Matt Yemm and their explosive freshman wr Thomas Cofman , I beleive that is his name.
Also Purdue has signed super fast BJ Knauf who I really think will wind up back at rb and be a feature back by his sophmore year as well as super explosive Danny Anthrop who has 2nd rounf draft pick written all over him and a solid possession receiver coming in in Cameron Posey. Outside of cb, D I football is getting slightly more white friendly at the caste positions.

Rb/wr Joe Hansley out of Colorado has signed to play wr for Colorado State. Why do I smell another Wes Welker in the making? C. State has been white friendly to receivers like Geoff Turner, David Anderson, Matt Yemm, the Borcky brothers, Thomas Coffman and now Hansley.

Grant Childress has been mentioned here before but this kid is explosive. He had an offer from Nevada but apparently that is off the table. According to Rivals.com he is going to be offered by Minnesota. That would probbaly be the best fit for him just based on the Big Ten exposure.
If anyone has the time could someone post his youtube highlights. He plays much faster than his 4.49 forty speed.
With Daniel Braverman going to Western Michigan and Westerkamp going to Nebraska and Connor Crane to Stanford there are a lot of our guys that are going to tear it up at the next level.
Also Florida speedster Hayden Jones finally got a DI offer albeit from Army. Hes not a tall guy but the kid has legit 4.3 speed.
Id also like to see what Dylan Collie can do at BYU. I had no idea Jaxson Shipley would do so well as a true Freshman at Texas. If Dylan is as good as his older brother Austin hes going to be a stud.

Gehrig Dieter the prolific wr from Indiana has commited to SMU. I hate to call him the classic possesion type but he is not a burner. At least we have one more guy to root for.

Jake Oliver a class of 2013 wr out of Dallas Texas has 7 D1 offers including Michigan and Mississippi State and Baylor.
Scout has him already listed as a 4 star recruit and then goes on to list him only having marginal speed and no elusivness.
On youtube he tracks the ball very well and is actualy very slippery after the catch. He looks like a 4.57 forty guy but he is a stud. The reason I bring this up is we have hundreds of wrs every year that have the same ability but only get 2 stars if lucky. I know this is redundant but I don't see why this guy gets 4 stars when so many of our guys also deserve this honor?

This is something that I've been looking into lately. As everyone here knows, D1 recruiters/scouts/coaches do very little of their own scouting, they simply rely on the "authoritive" caste-recruiting services, Rivals, Scouts, etc. In addition to glorifying black athletes, I suspect that they also "choose" average white players in order to, in some way, discredit white athleticism. Many RB's, WR's, DB's etc. who are unbelievably productive and possessing exceptional measurables are completely ignored, while a player like this, who is good, but nothing amazing is given "stars".

Call me paranoid and cynical, but what another explanation?

Congratulations to Zach!

The cynic in me says that the nation's leading receiver should never be on the second team anything, but it's hard enough for certain types of players to get recognition of any kind. Zach should be proud of his season. We know he's #1.
I just hope it's not too late for him to find a college team to play for.

http://www.maxpreps.com/m/article.aspx?articleid=36c46ff4-2e3a-e111-a43e-002655e6c45a

thanks for posting that link, Rocketman. a quick look at it showed that Maxpreps selected their All-American team based primarily on actual game production. what a "novel concept."

i also quickly noted that 4 of their All-American wide receivers (3 each were selected for the 1st and 2nd Teams) were White kids. they also had several other Caste-breaking players on the offensive side of the ball. i'll quickly copy/paste (and add a bit more information to) their information below.

on the 1st Team:
Gehrig Dieter, WR, 6-2, 210, Washington (South Bend, Ind.), Southern Methodist
A first team all-state selection, Dieter caught 82 passes for 2,181 yards and 24 touchdowns, setting several national records in the process, including 447 yards receiving in one game against Elkhart Central.

Jordan Westerkamp, WR, 6-1, 200, Montini (Lombard, Ill.), Nebraska
The Chicago Tribune Player of the Year made 78 catches for 1,673 yards and an astounding 29 touchdowns.

dual-threat quarterback Maty Mauk, QB, 6-2, 195, Kenton (Ohio), Missouri
Mauk finished his career with multiple national records. As a senior, he completed 382 of 566 passes for 5,413 yards and 68 touchdowns while rushing 241 times for 1,768 yards and 24 scores.

all-purpose athlete/dual-threat quarterback DJ Nelson, ATH, 5-9, 160, Logan (Utah), Utah State
Nelson was a sensational high school football player in 2011. He finished with 3,489 passing yards and 49 touchdowns to go along with 1,605 rushing yards and 24 scores as Logan finished the year undefeated. He was named the Utah Class 5A state player of the year by the Deseret News. (DJ is the younger brother of BYU's starting quarterback Riley Nelson.)

on the 2nd Team:
Kevin Gulyas, WR, 6-1, 185, Allentown Central Catholic (Pa.), Undecided (zero Division 1 scholarship offers)
Gulyas earned Class AAA all-state honors after catching 122 passes for 2,031 yards and 27 touchdowns in leading Central Catholic to the AAA championship game.

Zach Grant, WR, 6-1, 190, Rochester (Ill.), Undecided (zero Division 1 scholarship offers)
The top reported receiver in the country in terms of yardage, Grant caught 135 passes for 2,357 yards and 23 touchdowns in helping Rochester win the Class 4A state championship. He earned all-state honors by the Illinois Coaches Association.

dual-threat quarterback Tanner Trosin, QB, 6-1, 175, Folsom (Calif.), (lowly) Cal-Poly
Trosin only started one season at quarterback for the Bulldogs, but set a state record with 5,185 yards passing (360 for 527) while throwing 49 touchdowns. Trosin, the Sacramento Bee All-Metro Offensive Player of the Year, also rushed 215 times for 1,179 yards and 20 scores.

tailback Joseph Sadler, RB, 5-9, 175, Devine (Texas), Undecided (zero Division 1 scholarship offers)
The national scoring leader and the Class 3A Offensive Player of the Year in Texas, Sadler rushed for 3,887 yards (on 385 carries for a stellar 10.1 yards-per-carry average) and 58 rushing touchdowns. His 451 points on the season fell two points short of the national record. (Sadler had 61 total touchdowns on the year.)

Rb/wr Joe Hansley out of Colorado has signed to play wr for Colorado State. Why do I smell another Wes Welker in the making? C. State has been white friendly to receivers like Geoff Turner, David Anderson, Matt Yemm, the Borcky brothers, Thomas Coffman and now Hansley.

while i'm happy Joe Hansley is getting a Division 1 scholarship, one wonders what it takes for a White running back to actually get recruited to be a running back ...

Hansley, who was the Colorado Gatorade High School Player of the Year, seems to have the ideal measurements (5-foot-10-inches tall, 170-pounds, 4.54 speed in the 40) and production (1,851 yards and 24 touchdowns rushing on 194 carries for an average of 9.5 yards-per-carry; 518 yards and 8 touchdowns receiving on 27 catches for a 19.2 yard-per-catch average) for a collegiate tailback. not only that, he received the hard-to-find media attention that usually results in big-time recruitment. sadly for Hansley, though, he has that debilitating skin condition that prevents "real" talent.

Joe Hansley of Highlands Ranch.jpg

as it ended up in the world of the Caste System, he was only recruited by Wyoming, Northern Colorado, and Colorado State, where he eventually committed ... albeit, according to this article, at his racially-appropriate position of slot receiver. you can't make this stuff up.

The Rams will get a versatile athlete in Hansley, who played prominently as a running back and defensive back last season. Hansley said McElwain told him he'd be used as a slot back.

you can view Hansley's highlights by clicking this link.

Springdale, Arkansas Wide Receiver Michael Fine has been exiled to committed to DII Arkansas Tech.
Fine, 6'5" 4.5, has been mentioned in this thread before and has his own CF thread here.
ATU, despite being a mostly white school in a mostly white town, is much like every other football program in the state of Arkansas, i.e. mostly black. Unless money is an issue for Fine's family (and he could probably get an academic scholarship somewhere), I really see no difference between going there and walking on at Tulsa.

Parker Barrineau whom I have mentioned as the most elusive wr I have ever seen has walked on at Alabama. This kid is too good to be ignorred. As soon as he starts dominating as a freshman , look how the castespeak will come out that he is slow and a blue-collar lunch bucket player. I think this will be good for him as Alabama, though always highly overrated ) usually ranks in the top of the recruiting classes and will be a perennial challenger for a BCS invite.

Zach received a scholarship to play for NAIA St Ambrose university in Davenport IA. With one game remaining in the season he is currently ranked 2nd in the NAIA with 78 receptions for 1004 yards and 15 touchdowns! His 15 touchdowns broke the SAU record for receivers and he is only 11 receptions away from the most receptions in SAU history. He also set the single game record for most receiving td's in a game with 5! Did I mention that this kid is a FRESHMAN???
