Out of the 129 teams previewed so far, there are roughly 771 white starters or about 5.98per squad, which works to about 27.2% of total starters, about a ¾ % increase from 2020. As always, we’ll see a bit of movement as official depth charts come out for week 1.

The whitest team is Wisconsin starting 15-16 whites followed close behind by three other Big 10 schools Iowa, Nebraska, and Northwestern (oddly enough they also have close to the three darkest teams in Ohio State, Penn State, and Maryland too).

The count for majority white teams is 11.

The two big themes that we seemed to see this year was a minor uptick across many teams (around the 6 -> 7 range) along with the further coalescing around that key caste positions remaining: OL, TE, and QB. We are also seeing the continued rise of the “super dark” teams with 0-2 white starters which reached an all time high of 17 teams this year!

White athletes per conference looks like this:

Big 10 8.1
MAC 7.8
Big 12 6.8
MWC 6.4
Independent 6.3
Pac 12 5.9
CUSA 5.3

I live out west and have always enjoyed watching the Pac 12 alot. I must say that the Big Ten is where I will try my best to spend most of my time watching. Thank you for
all the hard work putting together this list. I also want to thank everyone here who spends alot of time putting together the composition rosters of both college and the NFL.
You guys are all amazing! If we ever have a huge meet up in Vegas, I would like to buy alot of members here a beer! :)

Fantastic work Claimjumper! Thank you very much as this makes it much easier to know who to pull for. Wisconsin has their work cut out for them but I'm rooting for them.

Great work by all those who did the write-ups. Nice to see a very tiny uptick for once in the number of overachievers starting.

No “Wakanda” teams, interesting. I guess the “diversity” training kicks in reverse and these Head Cucks feel a twinge of guilt if they go all-black.
