Chris Quinn had the best game of his career:

26 points (9-13 FG's, 5-5 3 pt's, 3-6 FT's)

4 rebounds
5 assists

He leads Miami to a 102-96 OT win over Detroit. This guy can do it, he just needs playing time, playing time!

Sasha Pavlovic had his best game of the season:

20 points (9-18 FG's, 2-5 3pt's)
3 rebounds
2 assists

Wally Szczerbiak had his best game too:

21 points (8-11 FG's, 2-3 3 pt's, 3-4 FT's)
7 rebounds
8 assists

Both played with Lebron sitting out the last game. While it was nice to see these guys play, I doubt they will get to do this on a regular basis. Cleveland lost in OT to the 76ers, 111-110. Edited by: j41181

I didn't know what category to put this in. It's just a kid from Flying101 on youtube. His name is David Thacker. I have watched some of his videos for several years now. He has gotten huge. They say he is a beast in the weight room. David has been doing these dunks since day one. Even when he weighed around 150lbs! This kid should have went to college and played Div.IA Ball.

Anyways, this site has alot of great young white dunkers. Here is Thackers latest video. Enjoy.

I want to know why we don't see more whites in the nba like the athletic guys on youtube.com I could post hundreds of videos of whites dunking over cars and just slamming on guys faces. It's just like in the nfl. Doesn't matter what you do in high school or college, they don't want you there. No white jordans allowed. Bull crap! We get a few here and there like Budinger, Alexander and Lee. Then they aren't allowed in the dunk contest and the majority of the rest of the white stars don't have this kind of eye popping athletic ability. I want more white Joe Alexanders and soon. Tired or these kids getting passed over for decades now.

Here is another guy who the nba will ignore. They call him "Irish Springs".

I actually may watch some NBA games this season. I am interested to see How Darko Milicic does in NY. He should get some decent playing time and maybe he can be the star we all hoped he would be. Also Hansborough should have a nice season on the white friendly Pacers.

Some good Reasons to watch the NBA:

Dirk Nowitzki & Mavs
Dirk will make history by crossing the 20,000 point mark. First white dude since Tom Chambers in 1995.

Steve Nash & Suns
It's always a pleasure to see Nash play ball. Best white point guard since John Stockton.

Pau Gasol & Lakers
Fresh in helping the Lakers win the title, I'm looking forward to another solid season from Pau, including an All-Star and All-NBA selection with Yao out for the season.

Indiana Pacers
5 American Whites, including Tyler Hansbrough.

Utah Jazz
Long-time white friendly team

Toronto Raptors
Lots of international whites led by Andrea Bargnani.

Sacramento Kings
This team is suddenly so white, led by Spencer Hawes.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas
This might be his LAST SEASON, he's one of the top centers of this decade. Best of luck to him.

San Antonio Spurs
I've always respected this team, one of the best of the decade.

New York Knicks
David Lee, Danilo Gallinari, and Darko Milicic

Houston Rockets
No Yao Ming (best of luck to him) and several incoming whites like David Andersen and Chase Budinger

Milwaukee Bucks
This team is suddenly white also, looking forward to Joe Alexander taking it to the sky.

Chicago Bulls
Captain Kirk Hinrich should have a bounce-back season. He's one of the best defenders in all the NBA right now. Brad Miller, solid center.

Kevin Love
A future All-Star in the making, no joke.

Portland Trail Blazers
A rising team with several whites, Steve Blake and Rudy Fernandez in particular. Victor Claver will join this in the near future.

Orlando Magic
Ryan Anderson is in, and Jason Williams is back. This team also has the likes of Marcin Gortat and JJ Redick. Very interesting team despite all eyes on Dwight Howard. Dwight's OK, but I'll focus more on the white guys, thank you!Edited by: j41181

Mike D'antoni, the way I see him coach reminds me of Don Nelson. He tends to give serious playing time to players of unusual stature like Darko Milicic. Considering the Knicks are still in building mode, I figure they will take things slow but steady.

Since it's unlikely they will make the playoffs, they should give Darko lots of playing time (20-25 minutes at best). The problem I see with Darko is:

he is foul prone (refs seem very unfair to him)
and he tends to get injured to so easily.

But, since he is playing an easy-going coach like D'antoni, I see some wonderful stuff from Darko this season. Best of luck to him.Edited by: j41181

Will Josh McRoberts see more playing time this year? The refs don't like him, but whenever he is playing he is rebounding and blocking shots.

That depends on the coaching staff. I personally think he should get lots of playing time (20-25 minutes at best). The guy is an all-around talent:

- shoot anywhere from the floor (has 3pt. range)
- solid rebounder
- plays hard defense (blocks & steals)
- noted passer

He just lacks experience that's all. In the 2 years he was at Duke, I thought he had a game like Andrei Kirilenko. He definitely can shoot, though not at a great percentage, and he possesses an all-around feel for the game. His FT shooting needs a lot of work. It all goes down to the coaching staff and how confident he is about himself.

I felt very disappointed when he left Duke too early, because he didn't seem polished enough in both his game and his confidence. As a result, he's been bouncing around the NBA for the past 3 years now. But since he's in Indiana now, I figure it should be the perfect place for him to realize his potential in becoming a solid NBA player.

This could be an exciting NBA season. I am hoping Milicic has a good season and puts up some numbers in NY. Hansborough could be a very good pf right off the bat. We will have to wait and see. The season is just around the corner.

I am doing my yahoo basketball fantasy team right now. I always make all white teams, there really does seem to be alot of young white talent at the forward and center position. There are some good young euro guards as well.

I hope the Pacers do well this season.

I don't know for sure, but I would think that Josh McRoberts would be ahead of Hansbrough on the depth chart.

Sad news.

Kevin Love is injured.
The injury is his non-shooting left-hand. He banged it with his teammate Oleksiy Pecherov. He'll be out for about a month. I consider this a mixed blessing, just like Pau Gasol's injury to his hand a month ago. An ankle or knee injury is always worse. This is an injury any player can shake off. I wish him a speedy recovery.
