I heard this morning on the radio that most Western teams are thought less of by people betting on NCAA Tourney games. The reason they gave is because nobody gets to watch them play. I think its also because they tend to be whiter. I could be wrong though. They said that in some group who were betting on opening round games, 62% were picking against UNLV and 68% were picking against BYU.

I see that Marist is playing NC State in the NIT Tourney tomorrow night at 8:30 Central time. Maybe it will be on TV, but I don't know for sure yet.

Belmont has 5 whites on the floor and are schooling G'twon (no whites allowed on that team as usual).

Hope it lasts!

Graves, from Butler, caught a black guy from ODU from behind for a
steal. The announcer stated that the black guy "geared down" or
"didn't see Graves coming".

I can't believe everyone picked Oral Roberts. Now if only Duke would win they'd really put it to the white-hating "experts"...

The announcer did say a few seconds later that AJ Graves was "pretty quick" as well.

NIT update-Marist went down to NC State last night. Jared (Share) Jordan again led the Owls with 4 assists and had 10 points. He also had 6 rebounds and a steal.

Mississippi State beat Bradley today, and Ben Hanbrough had 9 from the bench, as well as 3 rebounds and a steal. He ended up second on the team in assists with 5, even though he only played 16 minutes.

Todd Abernethy finished his college basketball career leading the Rebels in scoring and assists against Clemson. He had 18 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. He finishes the year averaging 5.6 assists per game, good enough for 20th in the country.

Today, Mississippi State plays Florida State at 6 PM Central on ESPN.

N.C. State plays West Virginia at 8 PM Central on ESPN.

Tomorrow, Syracuse plays Clemson at 6PM on ESPN 2.

Air Force plays DePaul at 8PM on ESPN 2.

The NIT Final Four will be Mississippi State vs. West Virginia and Clemson vs. Air Force. The games begin at 6 PM Central on March 27.

I'm hoping its West Virginia vs. Air Force in the final.

It's just about time for Butler to try to continue their Cinderella Season. AJ Graves is another Nash.He has proven time & time again, that he comes to play every night regardless of the level of competition.I predict the upset of the tournament. They are going to make gatorade out of the Florida Gators.Go Butler!
