In a battle of the two best white running backs in Division 1AA FCS,
David McCarty led University at Albany to a 35 to 17 win over Dave
Sinisi led Monmouth today. It was a battle of the top 2 teams in the
Northeast Conference. David McCarty had 208 yards rushing on 31 carries
    , one touchdown, and a 6.7 yards/carry average and added another 10
    yards receiving. Albany "held"
Sinisi to 118 yards on 27 carries.

David McCarty is well aware of the caste system as it pertains to whites carrying the ball in the NFL. I read an interview with McCarty. When the subject of his post college plans were discussed , McCarty's response was slightly surprising. He clearly knows his football career ends next season his senior year. Maybe some of the affletes who run the ball for the New York Giants discouraged him since the Giants preseason training camp is on the University at Albany campus. McCarty plans to join the Marines. Just another outrageous episode of anti-white racism. McCarty who is 6 feet 210 lbs has both power and breakaway speed (reminds me a little of Keith Lincoln). He is on pace to rush for more than 1500 yards this season. He is also a very good receiver. This season, so far, he has 20 receptions for 301 yards giving him a 15.1 yards per reception avg which is extremely high for a running back. He had a 72 yard reception for a TD this year. This season UAlbany is playing a tougher schedule with defenses keying on McCarty so his yards per carry average is down. However, he has shown he can "take it to house" against good teams. In the final game last season against 11-1 Dayton , he burned them for a 63 yard TD run, had a 67 yard TD run against Monmouth, and against Stony Brook of the Big South conference , he rushed for 157 yards on only 18 carries for an 8.7 yards per carry. Of course, it's a certainty if he were black; NFL scouts would be touting him as an NFL prospect. Here is a white running back with the power and speed to play in the NFL ,who is so discouraged and skeptical of having any chance of playing pro football , he will join the Marines.<style>-

John's brother, Mark, was a good high school runner too, but was a linebacker at MSU.

John was captain of the Free Press' Michigan Dream Team as a senior, after running for nearly 2,000 yards for a state championship team, from a no-joke league with Birmingham Brother Rice, but don't think he got any Big 10 offers as a RB.Edited by: GreatLakeState

Interesting that black Miles Austin from Monmouth is now getting game time with the Dallas Cowboys, but this never seems to translate "to white" small school stars. I really hope both Sinisi and Woodhead, coming back next year, get a shot! Sinisi's numbers at Monmouth are more impressive for a player than Miles Austin's were!Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

ToughJRiggins I personally know Miles Austin. He is half white half black. He is from Garfield NJ and I played many pickup basketball games with him a few years back. He's a real nice kid and I wish him the best

Stats complete. We had 4 whites run for over 100 yards in the FBS last week. 8 whites ran for over 100 yards in the FCS last week. Congrats to these players and keep it up![IMG]

the thing that might be most impressive about Nate Kmic's numbers is... that he's usually sitting on the bench shortly after halftime. Mount Union is so dominant in most of their games, that he often only plays about a half or so.

    i mean, wow! [IMG]

Big Diesel is theeee best RB in any division of football right now, I don't care what anybody says. He's played most of the games this year with a hurt ankle.

James Berezik, Grand Valley State sophomore, had the third-best rushing day in school history, 35 carries for 234 yards and two TDs.

Over in the FCS, whites are better represented among the rushing yardage leaders this week.

    David Sinisi-1, David McCarty-2, Kyle Minett-14, Tyler Roehl-37, Greg Sullivan-43, Dane Romero-46, Matt McGowan-47, Nate Eachus-48, Ross Wiemer-55, Phil Morelli-56, Shane Smith-61, Ben Widmyer-69, Ben Shappie-72, Mike Kielt-76, Stan Zwinggi-87, and Ryan Mole-94. That makes 16 whites in the top 100.

Goebel had a good game though. He had a long scamper for 37 yds that would have ended in a TD if he didn't start to trip on the wet turf. He however put it into the endzone on the next play and ended the game with close to 100 yds.

Goebel has been impressive every time I've seen him this year. I was happy to learn that he's just a sophomore. I expect big things from him next season.

most of all, i loved the fact that after Ramsey had a few bad runs and lost a fumble they went with Goebel all the way! he is also a good receiver, something that even the announcer acknowledged.

Barely into the second quarter and I 'm ready to turn off the volume on the Michigan-Northwestern game. Running QB Mike Kafka was just called deceptively fast twice in less than a minute. [IMG]I cannot stand the affirmative action announcer Pam Ward. Her color man Ray Bentley is just as bad. No mention of Sam McGuffie at all today and Odoms has fumbled twice. Shaw isn't doing anything, but they go with Brown instead of Sam. [IMG]

Kansas has Jake Sharp on the bench for some reason, and what do you know the black back promptly loses a fumble.

nice job, mangino, you fat moron.

they said something about Sharp getting dinged up and getting up slowly after his last carry, i am guessing that was the reason.

Sharp has injured ribs. McGuffie can't get any touches for Michigan's anemic offense today. Not even returning punts. Haven't even heard his name or seen him on the sidelines.

Jordan Shipley just ran the ball on a fake field goal - he leaped over the pile, literally soaring 5 yards. He's a stud.

Sharp also said he was alright and ready to go, but Kansas has held him out so far in the second half anyway. meanwhile, Kerry Meier has been trying to gut out a pulled hamstring, but he's noticeable not himself.

not coincidentally, the KU offense is struggling mightily.
