Christian Ponder was and is a promising young quarterback. He is currently unemployed.

Meanwhile, affirmative action quarterback BJ Daniels has an NFL job.

Daniels is completely unqualified to be in the NFL. The only reason he's in the NFL is because he's black.

I just read on BSPN that Manziel has moved in with Von Miller in LA, evidently in an effort to get his life back on track. Unfortunately, he said they have gone out five of the last six nights. He also said, wait for it...."I don't think NFL teams have a problem with me partying." This guy just lives in a constant state of denial.

Yea I hope he gets his act straightened out and prioritizes his life. As much of a
fan I am of him, not wasting anymore time following his career until he gets his priorities in order.

With all the teams that need quarterbacks you'd think some team would give Mike Glennon a chance. He'd probably be available in a trade from Tampa.

After two promising seasons with Tampa he has been completely written off as a possible starter in the NFL, for no good reason.

It's probably because he's white. A black player with his resume would be being given chances to start somewhere.

Blaine Gabbert interesting interview, played under six different systems in his six years in the line, under some terrible OC's and behind awful lines. He really can push on this year. Unfairly written off as a bust and castigated by everyone in the media, he kept plugging away and tok his chance when Kaepernick inevitably fella apart.

He also touches upon the caste system

On having three QBs (Gabbert, Kap, Driskel) being about same size/speed and benefit of having similar skillsets:

I don't know. I just catch the ball, throw the ball, and run with it if I have to. But, yeah. Jeff's a good athlete, Colin's a good athlete, Thad's a good athlete, and I think I'm a pretty decent athlete. So I guess it's a good thing.

On if his athleticism is underrated:

Yeah, everybody is going to have their opinion. But I can run with them pretty good.

Compare that to Manziel, what a waste, more talent than Gabbert, but he is just a total degenerate, weak minded. Pissing away millions, for what, drugs and fun? Sad

Some of the league's top white quarterbacks are getting older and closer to the end of their careers. So who will replace them?

Not to worry. The future looks bright with young white quarterbacks such as Ryan Tannehill, Andy Dalton, Derek Carr, Andrew Luck, Blake Bortles and Kirk Cousins.

You can add Carson Wentz to that list. It looks as if Blaine Gabbert will get a chance to start regularly this season. He could develop.

There are four white quarterbacks from the 2013 draft that will be free agents this year; Mike Glennon, Ryan Nassib, Landry Jones and Matt Barkley.

Mike Glennon is clearly a starting quality QB, who isn't playing solely because he's white. The others are still question marks but could develop into something. It will be interesting to see what happens.

If I were a quarterback needy team I'd go after Glennon hard in the offseason.

Supposedly, the QB draft class isn't strong this year. These players could attract a lot of interest.

Kirk Cousins is also slated to become a free agent. It will be interesting to see what happens with him. Will the Redskins sign him to a long term deal?

Ryan Nassib is, as far as I know, still a free agent. A smart team would sign him as a backup who still has the chance to develop into a starter.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian is an interesting quarterback. He was a relatively unsuccessful college quarterback. The Broncos saw something and drafted him in the 7th round. He turned out to be a serviceable starter with a chance to develop into more.

    It's a Cinderella story.

I'm a Paxton Lynch fan and wanted him to be the Broncos' starter, but Siemian is winning me over. He played very well yesterday.

He was also fortunate to practice next to Manning for one year. I'm sure some of Manning's approach and philosophy rubbed off onto him.

Good point. The Broncos brought him along the way a quarterback should be brought along. They redshirted him one year before giving him his chance. They're doing the same thing with Chad Kelly.

And Joe McCarthy was indeed right.

I still think Lynch has a chance in Denver to be the viable long term starter. It all depends on how they work with him and develop him. Siemian has turned out to be a real pleasant surprise, I really enjoy watching him play and he throws one of the prettiest balls in the league. My guess is they move on from Siemian and probably flip him for a 2nd/3rd round pick in a year or two and hand over the reigns to Lynch. Elway seems to be pretty invested in Lynch. I still think it is a shame Kubiak had to retire due to health concerns as he would of really done wonders for Lynch due to his reputation as a QB guru.

Rodgers sat for three years in Green Bay - McCarthy is a very good QB coach and developed and worked with Rodgers to become a quality replacement for Farve.
Palmer sat for a year behind Kitna and it no doubt helped him long term.
Rivers sat for two years behind Brees.

Personally, I like Chad Kelly as the long-term solution. Like Siemian, he was a seventh round pick, but that's only because the Caste media beat his reputation into the ground and was able to convince scouts and general managers that he had "character issues" after a relatively minor incident that involved getting into a fight with bouncers at some bar (which was probably routine behavior (resulting in no arrests) in the NFL 35-40 years ago (and still routine behavior today (or worse) by the NFL's precious affletes)). He ultimately pled guilty to disorderly conduct and served 50 hours of "community service", but that's all the Caste media needed as they are always looking for ways to deny White players the opportunity to play at the next level, especially with their blatant agenda to promote as many quotabacks into the league as possible.

While playing college ball, Kelly had a "don't give two sh*ts" kind of attitude at Ol' Miss and played very aggressive, always attacking the defenses, which I think served him well. He beat Alabama, Auburn, and LSU in the same season, which means he has the confidence to excel under pressure. But, just as a leopard cannot change his spots, the Caste media will always be scrutinizing him based upon that one incident. He would have to play almost mistake-free in order to escape their wrath.

It should be an interesting QB battle next year in Denver during the off-season. If Siemian continues to play like he currently has, it's a mute point as to whom the future starting QB will be, and he will become a very rich man, but if Kelly shows up well in the off-season, next year could be Lynch's last with Denver and declared a "bust" by the Caste media as, I believe, that will be the end of his contract.

Just because Siemian plays well doesn't mean Lynch can't. But the MSM may portray it that way.

Given that 49ers QB, Brian Hoyer, has exactly impressed in the staring role, I'm very interested in seeing how former Iowa QB, CJ Beathard will do if he gets to start later this season. I've heard that they could make the switch in a few weeks against Indianapolis' terrible defense. It would be cool to see him reunited with his former Iowa teammate, George Kittle...

I went on a Bears site and the hatred of Mike Glennon is unreal. Reading what they're saying you'd think Glennon is the worst quarterback who ever played. He's being called "garbage" and there are calls to replace him immediately, after only two games.

Glennon played well the first game against defending NFC Champions Atlanta. They won't even give him credit for that. One article lied and called his performance in that game "lackluster at best," which it wasn't. Anything to bash a White player.

A black player would never be talked about the way Glennon is being talked about. And not one word about the Bears horrible black receivers who repeatedly drop passes.

These DWFs are totally and rabidly anti-White. They'll eagerly attack any White player they can.

Carson Palmer is injured and may be out for the season.

Inexplicably, the Cardinals are going with Drew Stanton instead of Blaine Gabbert. Gabbert is a better player.

The Cardinals should start Gabbert and sign Matt Barkley as a backup. Stanton is strictly a depth player, not a starter.

If the Cardinals do sign a quarterback I wonder what obscure AA QB they go after.

Here's an analyst who rates Baker Mayfield as a top 10 prospect in the 2018 draft.

Baker MayField - NFL Draft Scouting Reports

Fanatical Yankee is an interesting analyst. He does his own work and has his own ideas, sometimes at odds with conventional wisdom. Like any other analyst sometimes he's right and sometimes he's wrong but he's right more often than he's wrong. His opinions are worth listening to.

Josh Woodrum played at Division 1AA Liberty. He was a free agent after the 2016 draft. I liked him as a prospect.

He played well in the 2017 preseason with a quarterback rating of 115.6. Currently he's on the Ravens practice squad. I think he belongs on a 53 man roster somewhere.
