Black Guy: you sound a little bit queer. Are you a gay? If you are, are you a married gay?

what the hell is this? The answer is no. I guess even in an "all white" board like this, some of yall are still subject to the same B.S that goes on at places like hoopshype.com

You will find that stuff like that happens in far less frequency around here than it happens at other sports websites. I would have no problem calling you out as a queer if I had reasonable evidence that you are gay. But there is no such evidence in your posts and I take your word that you are not gay. I think Mapleleaf posted those comments because he doesn't like you and felt like insulting you and that's between you and him.

You know, just my opinion, but if a guy isn't asking you out on a date or posting **** pics on the forum, who gives a sh*t if he's gay or not?

Resorting to ad hominem is the last resort of a person who has lost the argument.

Yeah, I don't know where that sh*t came from. We are having a good basketball discussion and he throws in that crap? WTF, is he stupid, that was totally uncalled for and inappropriate.

ThatBlackGuy has been polite and rational in his arguments, making points and conceding them when necessary. Watching a few educated sports fans in a polite debate can be entertaining. Though I'm not sure why he's here if he doesn't share the opinion of the basic premise of this site. But hell, I learned a lot about basketball and young white players during the course of this thread so perhaps I shouldn't complain. Edited by: jared

I agree. There's no need to get insulting when the conversation is rational and enlightening. I have learned a great deal about the NBA from this thread, and I enjoyed two people that know their stuff facing off and exchanging views. Edited by: PhillyBirds

I find it funny that the Dream team had several really good white players: Bird, Stockton, and Mullin. However this year's team has zero. Again in just 15 years white Americans have been almost completely eliminated from the NBA. At least 15 years ago we had some white stars from the US. Now it is next to nothing.
