What Is There To Root For?

Sorry to keep being pessimistic folks, but why are any of us watching this nonsense? The powers that be will never let any basketball team win this Black Madness stuff if they have more than one token white starter. Look at what has happened already. Duke, shockingly enough, was upset by an all-black "underdog" squad, to the suprise of no one (certainly not to any of the "experts," who thought in unison that this was a real potential "upset"). Belmont loses. Davidson loses. BYU loses. Gonzaga loses. Penn loses. Okay, so are we going to be relegated to rooting for the few teams left with two white starters? Do you honestly think Notre Dame has a chance to go far? As I've pointed out before, either these games are somehow scripted and fixed beforehand (and God knows how they would do that), or they are figuratively "fixed" by a combination of dual standard officiating and supreme black confidence/total white passivity. If these games were officiated fairly, EVERY black player would foul out of EVERY game. I would estimate that only about 20% of the fouls black players commit are actually called by the officials (and certainly less than that when the player they are "defending" is white). On the other hand, white players are not allowed to play any defense at all; on the rare occasion when they try to emulate the blacks and play "tough D," the officials invariably blow the whistle on them. Combined with the rampant traveling and palming allowed to go unchecked, and the constant "trash talk" (all of it racially charged, no doubt, when the opponent is white), we should understand that it is virtually impossible for any white-dominated team to win under those circumstances. I am not going to watch some sporting event where ten blacks are running up and down the floor in a totally disorganized, playground fashion, with little order and fewer rules enforced. I am also not going to root for a team just because it has a token white starter, while the other team plays the preferred five blacks all the time. I have zero interest in any of the teams left in the field, except for Butler, Washington State and Notre Dame. If any of them make it to the Final Four, I will be totally shocked. Sometimes I wish they wouldn't tease people like us with these seemingly good white-dominated teams, that always end up falling short somehow in the tournament, but would instead just invite 64 all-black teams to their precious Black Madness extravaganza. I certainly hope I'm wrong, and that for once one of these white majority teams becomes the darling "underdog" embraced by the jock-sniffers in the media. History, however, would unfortunately indicate otherwise. Edited by: bigunreal

bigunreal, I feel exactly the same way. Officials are afraid of the racism charge just like nearly everyone else in society. Officiated correctly, basketball is a beautiful team-sport game. Today's basketball right down to the high school level resembles none of that - instead it's the ultimate selfish game. Pick-up games at our local athletic club (mostly all white) are played better and self-officiated fairly.

Sometime many years ago, I think black players realized they couldn't shoot with white players and the game needed to be changed to their advantage. Now, offensive players don't have to be able to shot, they only need to be able to get away with carrying the ball, traveling, and then jumping over a completely still defender on their way to the hoop. If they miss the shot, then they just "drew contact" and shot free throws. How much fun is that to watch? Meanwhile, white players who try the same thing will get whistled for a violation or foul - or better yet, their shot will always be "cleanly blocked" by a charging defensive player who knocks him to the ground. The game is flat out ugly today and extremely hard to watch.

I hope both of you guys are wrong...but you might not be. There has got to be a breakthrough one day and maybe this is the year.Notre Dame, Washington State and Arizona are our best hopes. If Arizona upsets Florida...that will be a big blow to the caste system. They have to get past Purdue first.

Arizona has Chase Budinger who is going to be a bigger star than Dirk Nowitzki in another two years. This kid already was the Pac Ten Freshman Player of the Year!He has athletic ability that leaves people in awe.The Wildcats have two whites in their starting lineup.

North Carolina would be another great team to root for as they have a white point guard and their best player is Tyler Hansborough. He is a monster. He won the ACC Player of the Year last season and led the league in scoring and rebounding as a freshman. No one had ever done that in the history of the ACC at that young of an age.

Michigan State is also one to root for and their best player is white.Drew Neitzel is as good as any point guard in the nation. He will be in the NBA next season. He leads their team in scoring.

These are just a few teams to watch and they all have some serious talent.I was bummed about the first day but I have not given up.I do however agree with the way that the games are being officiated. It always favors them.Only in the Olympics and World Championships are the games called fairly and that is why the US struggles so much.

Hard not to be pessimistic. Notre Dame is about to go down. We still have Washington State, Vandy and Butler. I think Southern Illinois starts 2-3 whites.

Oh well, we still have boxing, wrestling, Pride fighting and UFC. And "our" U.S. international basketball team can't beat the Europeans.

I think some of you guys are losing the bigger picture. The NBA will be
less and less black, just like baseball is becoming less and less white,
because the major sports leagues are trying to get more races and
ethnicities into the leagues to sell them abroad. Just look At Yao. Soon
more chinese and other asians will follow, as will more whites from
Europe.

That's the real story. Its only the NBA jobs where the athletes make the
big money. And fewer and fewer of those players will be black. I couldn't
care less about who wins college ball--the NBA only takes so many
players in the draft. Thousands of these black affolete idiots will be out
of eligibility and never make it to the pros, and most won't have a college
degree to show for it.

The colleges will never pay the athletes either. If they ever do, then the
players become employees of the university instead of students, and the
whole myth of scholar/athlete is gone. If you're payiing and employee to
play basketball or football, how can you require them to take classes that
would interfere with their jobs? Why would employees have to live on
campus? Why would an employee be limited to only workiing four years?
And wouldn't the colleges then be competing with the pros directly?

It really doesn't matter. If the affoletes win the title, then lots of young
affoletes will spend all their time playing ball and neglecting school. And
if the white guys win, we just win twice. The world is changing, slowly,
but it is changing in our favor.

PitBull,

We fundamentally disagree here. The NFL certainly isn't getting whiter; the topic of almost every post here in the NFL section provides testimony to that. No professional league is interested in promoting any white people anywhere. That's simply not part of the agenda of those who misrule us. If the NBA was being inundated with more Asian talent like Yao, I agree that the league would promote it as an "internationsl" or "global" phenomenon. However, they aren't about to trumpet the new "global" face of the NBA when all that "diversity" is coming from Europe (unless they can find more and more Tony Parker-types). That's why you have vile racists like John Thompson bemoaning the number of Europeans (i.e., whites) entering the league. As for baseball, we've discussed the nonsense about there being fewer blacks in the Major Leagues. That's just ridiculous; the league is dominated by non-whites who appear black in every sense, except that they usually don't speak even an ebonics form of English and they are named Martinez, Rodriguez and Gonzalez instead of Jones or Johnson. When someone like David Ortiz is not considered "black," then you have to realize how absurd their racial statistics are. I wish I could share your optimism, but I just can't. Certainly, this Black Madness nonsense is not about to pleaee the fans of white basketball players.

Shocker- Notre Dame is upset, too. The only two real upsets so far, and the two highest profile white-dominated teams are the losers. This really isn't funny at all, and certainly not entertaining. It is undeniably March, and it is some kind of "madness" for any self-respecting white person to watch this stuff. I'm just as bad as anyone else- while I can't stomach more than a few minutes of any game, I'm still checking the results, almost enjoying being right in my gloomy forecasts. Creighton lost, as well, although to a Nevada team that appears to have a few white players.

Reminds me of last year and "Black Thursday".

Black Thursday

I agree with bigunreal, I hate the NCAA tournament and don't follow it at all. It always is anti-white and for all of the reasons mentioned above, mostly anti-white officiating and white appeasement.

It is pretty sickening, but I have tempered myself to not expect much else. I hope Jimmy Chitwood will post (or write an article)soon about his experiences at the Arkansas High Screwl State Championships a couple of weeks ago. The double standard when it comes to officiatingcan definitely be a lethal setback for whites at every level. We see the same thing when it comes to hard hitting white safeties and linebackers in college football. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Yep- I saw him laying injured on the floor, waiting for the jock-sniffing announcers to possibly acknowledge that something done by someone on the court had been responsible for that. Not those announcers, or any other ones assigned to the Black Madness games. They appeared to think that the cut under his eye was a part of the game, and didn't question for a minute whether the afflete whose flying elbow caused it should be penalized for doing so. Even when watching the replay a few times, and watching that elbow come flying down hard into his face, these lame, wannabe comedians couldn't bring themselves to say "the emperor isn't wearing any clothes!" Flying elbows to the face, especially when the opponent is white, is a tried and true part of the "street game" that has been allowed to dominate at every level of organized basketball. Somehow, I don't think that kind of violent, unsportsmanlike behavior was written into Dr. James Naismith's original rule book.

Nevada and Nick Fazekas. A possible lottery pick in the NBA draft. I love March Madness but it has been largely depressing so far. Go Nevada, Butler, Michigan State,Washington State, Southern Illinois and because of Hansbrough..North Carolina.

Well, it's down to the last 16 teams, and the situation is anything but "sweet" for fans of white players. The only team remaining that we could truly root for is Butler. Unfortunately, they play defending champ Florida next, and are thus unlikely to advance further. The only other team with any real white presence is Vanderbilt, who has to play Georgetown next. Georgetown is probably the media's favorite team right now. They have the perfect "look" for Don King's America; all black team, black coach, and rich white yuppie fans cheering them on. The fact that their black coach is the son of one of the sports' world's most despicable characters, vile racist John Thompson, just makes them all the more attractive to the white jock-sniffers he hates. The only white "star" player left is Tyler Hansborough of North Carolina. That's really a sad commentary of the state of college basketball, as well as a sobering look at the way this tournament has gone. I will be a bit interested if Vanderbilt somehow makes it to the Final Four, but Butler is the only team left I could really root for.

white lightning- while i am a huge hansbrough fan and he is one of my favorite college playes, a lot of what you said about him was wrong. he didn't win acc player of the year he was freshman of the year and reddick was player of the year? you forgot jj reddick?! also, he was certainly not the leagues leading scorer or rebounder as i know multiple players who were higher in those categories last year (reddick, craig smith for scoring, smith and shleden williams for rebounding)..other than that though i completely agree, he is a complete beast and if unc wins it all he should certainly be mvp of the tourney (especially is he plaays like he did against michigan st last night, holy crap was he good!)

I don't think we should give up OUR sport just because a bunch of thugs play it. That's the same defeatist, attitude that got us in the shape we're in now. White flight never works or does any good. At some point, we've got to stand up and fight for what we believe in, even if it is a sport. If we don't then we deserve whatever we get.
