for 48 yards on a reverse!M Scholbel of the Bengals had
2 catches for 84 yards and a touchdown.Jason Whitten had
another big game for the Cowboys with 6 for 97 yards. Then you have Father Time JR./Ricky Proehl who had
6 catches for 91 yards.Proehl just seems to get better with age. What a career. Also,Jeremey Shockey had 6 catches for 64 yards.Ben Roth. of Pittsburgh continues to amaze and is now 6-0 as a starter in his rookie year!

It was nice to see Ricky Proehl have a big game, but to me the highlight of yesterday was the return of Joe Jurevicius to Tampa's lineup. I was watching the Tampa-KC game when Joe made his first reception and he received a nice ovation from the crowd. He's obviously a popular player there. He finished 3/43 and will be a starter if he can stay healthy.

Now if Stokley and Dallas Clark can shine before a national audience tonight!

Brad Hoover didn't have a big day running the ball,
but he did make a great TD catch, sprawled out on
top of a defender and stretching the ball into the end
zone. And it was just moments after he was booed
by his Panther fans after a one yard rush. Way to
shut 'em up, Hoove. Proehl made some great clutch
catches at the end of the game as well. The color
commentator (black, of course) said, "That's why
he's one of my favorite players in this league."

Here's a few more "white" results. Bengals tight end Matt Schoebel had a 76 yard reception for a TD in which the defensive backs for Dallas couldn't bring him down. He ended up 2/84/1.

Chris Horn didn't play much for the Chiefs but did get one reception for 30 yards.

Rob Konrad only got one touch, but at least it was a 20 yard TD reception. Konrad and Forsey combined had one touch against Arizona.

Eric Johnson had 5 more catches, for 54 yards.

And last but not least, Jerheme Urban did end up playing for Seattle and had 2 catches for 50 yards. Koren Robinson supposedly has a 4 game suspension upcoming so Urban should stay with the team, but you never know with the NFL.

Interesting isn't it -- look at the averages per catch for everyone but Johnson -- 2 for 84, 1 for 30, 1 for 20, 2 for 50, even old man Ricky Proehl 6 for 91 over 15 yards per catch. Whites are the slow guys with no moves, aren't they?!?!
