How about Kyle Ingraham, Purdue's 6-9 freshman receiver?!?! 11/206/2! His TD catches were 26 and 52 yards. It's great that Purdue recruited this guy as a WR and not a TE, and gave him a chance to play as a freshman.

Iowa State was led in receiving today by two white WRs. Todd Blythe led the team in receiving yards with 57, while Todd Miller (4/38) had the Cyclones' only receiving TD in their win.

I forgot to mention Kyle Orton -- 33/54/518/6. What a year he's having!

Boise State cleaned up against Louisiana Tech. T. J. Acree had 8 catches for 149. But the biggest game was by running back Jon Helmandollar -- how about 10 rushes for 88 yards and 5, count 'em 5, TDs! He's just a freshman, 5-11 and 215, and he has 10 TDs in the last three games!

BYU is starting 2 white cornerbacks and 2 white safeties against Utah today.

Don't forget the best receiver in the nation.Mike Haas is having another huge game tonight against rival Oregon.
So far, Haas has 7 catches for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns! He will finish as one of the top 3 receivers in the nation.Remember,he was a walk on and will end up with another incredible season. He should end up with around 1400 yards receiving approximatley.Mike will be back for his senior year. It's too bad the his qb is leaving to the NFL.You never know how a new quarterback will do just starting out.

Here's a few more.Dan Burks with 14 carries for 110 yards.Kyle Eckel with 15 carries for 143 yards and two
touchdowns.Austin Collie has 3 catches for 74 yards so
far against Utah.He is a future superstar for Byu as he
is only a freshman.Unfortunatley,he is going on his mission for 2 years soon.We will see him back after that.

Did you just immensely enjoy the Clemson-South Carolina U riot at the end of the game? It was almost exclusively a fight between Africans on each team. An excellent brawl! with cleared benches, mixing-in fans, police and coaches trying to hold back African players ... most excellent! Magnificent the Sportsmanship of our diversitybrethren. Take your helmet off and sling it at your opponent! even better you hit him in the head with it. I bet Steve Spurrier can't wait to get his hands on Holtz's team ... and take revenge on Clemson and Bowden next year

That Clemson-South Carolina riot was one of the most embarassing things I've seen in a while. For a team to send their coach out with a display like that is sad. I know they're incapable of controlling themselves, but c'mon! I saw in an interview one of the players blamed it on the Pacers (he was joking).

If ever a coach deserved an embarrassing send-off like that it's Lou Holtz. South Carolina starts 20 blacks. Notre Dame went from a team that had always started a fair number of whites to a predominantly black team when Holtz was there. Good riddance!

Cheer, Cheer for Old Notre Dame!

Yes, Lou Holtz did the PC thing at Notre Dame and made the team "Look Like Amerika." How bizarre that his replacement, Tyrone, has actually added a few palefaces to the squad. But next year, his third, he should have the green light to comletely Congo-ize the "Irish." Fans and boosters and students deserve it. ND is the lynchpin of the Looney Left Catholic movement, bearing no resemblance to the Knute Rockne traditional institution of days of yore.

Methinks that Tyrone is dead meat no matter who the players are.

Maybe Navy can win next year .... naaaah.

Good ridence to Lou Holtz! I remember watching a South Carolina game his first year coaching there when there were still some white players on the team. Due to suspensions to 2 of his starting RB(can't remember his name), he had to start a converted WR, who was white, at RB. On national tv, he lite it up. I believe he had over 200 yards and three touchdowns. After two of his touchdowns, he was blind-sided late way late in the end zone by a black opponent who must have been frustrated that he was getting whipped by a white boy. I don't believe he ever started at RB again but what a performance!

Iowa looks like the big ten team to be routing for. Several white stars on both sides of the ball. Drew Tate looks like the second coming of Tarketon or Flutie and he has many excellent recievers to throw to (hinkel, chandler, schlisher etc.). I don't think any team can beat them right now.

Iowa has had a great year with only 2 losses. It's sad that they will just get barely edged out by Michigan for
the Rose Bowl. The only really terrible game they had was
against ASU when they were flat the whole game.Good luck
to the Hawkeyes in the bowl game.
