The WBC has orderd Vitali to face the winner of Rahman-Barrett, once the winner is cleared to fight him within 6-8 weeks of their Aug. 13 showdown.

Vitali has allegedly requested a tune-up bout but it must be approved by both Rahman-Barrett, which will never happen.

Somebody out there give me some encouragement. Not that I don't want Vitali to fight either of these guys, but it just looks like a lot has been going against K2 recently, with the IBF decision and now this.

Whats the boards opinion? Are the K2 resilient enough to handle all this?

Vitali will be just fine.He is a very smart fighter and
he will know how to use his jab and reach advantage against
Rahman.I can't see Barrett beating Rahman.This will be a
good fight and Vitali will be ready for it.This should
help him get more respect from the public. After this, when
the hell will Chris Byrd or Ruiz ever fight someone
good. They are ducking everyone. Why are they not being
forced.Oh,I forgot,it's because they are not white and
hated by the boxing world!

I may be wrong, but I think this is the first step in Vitale unifying the title. He will beat whoever he fights and then he will force the unification of the title by using some humiliation tactics against Ruiz and Byrd. Its just a matter of time.
