i noticed the other day, that both the University of Washington and Washington State play a ton of white kids. in their head-to-head meeting, UW often had five white players on the court at one time. and that was without Spencer Hawes, their most talented player who is currently injured (an ongoing illness Hawes has been suffering with is a big reason they've been struggling as of late).

WSU, on the other hand, almost always had 3+ white guys on the court at a given time.

both teams have been ranked in the Top-25 this year, and are poised to make a run come March. so if you can stay up late and watch some West Coast basketball, you might want to check 'em out.Edited by: Jimmy Chitwood

More proof, when it comes to hoops, play for a black coach, not a user
like Coach K who will make you rich while you flop in the NBA.

Who is the only current college coach to put two white players in the NBA
All-Star game?

Charlie Coles -- Dan Majerle and Wally. At Central Michigan and Miami-
Ohio, no less. For shame, Coach K, what you do to these brainwashed
white boys!

Don't forget now-powerhouse Gonzaga, residing in Spokane, Washington. Gonzaga dismantled Washington by 20 earlier in the year and after experimenting with an affletic lineup, went back to its roots and started 4 whites on Monday against Portland (Mallon, Raivio, Heytvelt, Bouldin.) All 3 will be dangerous come tournament time.

that was truly a dominant performance by my Zags, but the young Huskies have shone brightly this year, as well. at least until Hawes went down with his weird flu-like illness (he lost a LOT of weight and looked very lethargic when he was able to go at all), the Huskies were a Top-25 team.

last night they knocked off #25 USC, and for long stretches they had five white guys on the court at once.

both are very positive signs.

four of the Huskies' 6 top scorers are white men, and rugged role player Hans Gasser is just outside the mix (he's tied for 7th).
