Sigh... Now that white men are dominating the "glamor divisions" of boxing, the media has to go pee on the parade by saying the black boxers who faced them aren't very good, and boxing in general isn't very good.

Anything to avoid giving credit where credit is due.

If Vitali and Wladimir were black phDs who stood six and a half feet tall and demolished their opponents and held world titles simultaneously, the media would be all over it like unemployed people at a free sample counter at a Costco.

Let's talk about something the media will not. What if Vitali or Wlad met Tyson in his prime. Or even Holyfield? I feel it would be the same result as the Vitali-Peter fight.

Holyfield would get whomped but Tyson would give a fight. the klitschko's are so big they usually dominate smaller fighters. I have yet to see anyone get inside on them. Tyson might be able to because he was always a smaller heavy anyway and knew how to get inside on the big guys and he could take a punch. He still would get beat but it would be a heckava fight.

Tyson own words are that he could "...never beat a guy like that..." referring to George Foreman. His comments were based on the size deferential. If he felt he could never beat Foreman, what could he do against Vitali or Wladimir?
