I agree if he looked flat it was because Johnson was barely fighting. I might have docked points from Johnson for not fighting. He was constantly leaning away and not throwing anything back. I guess because he wasn't clutching Vitali he wasn't clearly breaking the rules like Akinwande did against Lewis, but he was in the same survivor/sparring partner mode. Now we know why he was wearing sun glasses through out the promo, it's either that or he would have needed Depends before the stare downs.......Parody said:

Odlanier Solis called out Klitschko. I can't wait for this great black dope to be defeated. Also in the link I provided Adam Booth(Haye's trainer) says he knows how to beat klitschko. I've heard that from all of the guys he has fought.

I have never seen a heavyweight boxer looking as scared as Johnson did in that fight. He actually looked frightened and was ducking and twitching every time Vitali so much as looked at him. Plus when things got awkward he turned his head away and complained about being hit in the back on the head. It was a pathetic performance from someone with such a big mouth. If I was a black American I would be extremely embarrassed. The most agression he showed was after the final bell when he knew Vitali was not allowed to hit him any more.
One question - who is the clown of a judge that actually decided that Johnson won a round? No way. Johnson showed some good defensive skills but I think he landed about fifteen punches in the twelve rounds.

Vitali landed almost 5 times as many punches as Johnson did!! Is that dominant or what? His connect percentage was low though at only 29 %. Johnson was on the defensive the whole night so he was hard to hit.

There are so many good white heavyweights and the Klitschko's constantly have to fight blacks. What is up with that? White fighters like Boystov, Ustinov,</span>Dettweiller, and Meehan should be getting title shots.
While I do agree that Juan Carlos Gomez was a good opponent Johnson was more a joke. Next Vitali will probably fight Solis who has done nothing so far.

By the way, it seemed a lot of the commentary was focused on how good or not good Klitchko really is. Ali had some of stinkers. Tyson too. Times when other fighters (Bonecrusher Smith and Mitch Green come to mind among other) made bad ass Tyson look absolutely lost and ineffectual. But I don't remember the commentators having a running debate about his abilities, this lingering suspicion hanging in the air such as we see whenever a Klitchko fights.
Oh well. There's always the mute button.

Well, some fighters made a name for themselves with courageous challenges for the heavyweight title where they gave their all and fell short, but the the sport was uplifted. Billy Conn, Karl Mildenburger, Tommy Farr. Georges Carpentier, Vitali Klitchko against Lennox Lewis, among others.

Read a bull--it article today online. It mentioned how Vitali is much slower than he was 5 years ago and that David Haye should beat him with ease. It also mentioned how Johnson was able to land some jabs on Vitali. Yeah ok!

What Haye can do is buy time at this point. Vitali is already 38 so he could stall for a year or two. I think that's exactly what he is trying to do. I wish Vitali didn't have those injuries and didn't have to retire for 4 years. Those were his prime years.

People just seem to refuse to acknowledge how hard it is to come back after being out of boxing for 4 years and winning the title. Tyson came out of prison and back into boxing at the age of 29. He was still young and he just sucked at that point.

Guys he is 38 years old and taking on all comers and dominating them. Even Foreman carefully chose his opponents and only faced non punchers or people with weak chins. Nobody else has even been close to this level at this advanced age. Any criticism of Vitali has an agenda. If Mills Lane was officiating this fight he might have ran Johnson for non effort, that's how bad an effort Johnson put up.

We better watch out though guys. Adam Booth says he knows how to beat the Klitschko's. Has that prick every been in the ring with the Klitschko's to know this? No he hasn't. He promised Haye would knock Valuev out and all Haye did was run for 12 rounds. What a joke. I had Haye landing only a few punches per round. Haye is truly a coward and Adam Booth is a piece of s--t. I'd like to see him get in the ring with one of the Klitschko's. His mouth would shut real quick. Ohh yea by the way, the past 10 fighters the Klitschko's faced all said that they know how to beat them. First they need to concentrate on winning at least one round the whole fight.
