Vince Young was in the college football skill contest today on ESPN.He competed in the longest throw contest where he finished dead last!

He couldn't even throw the ball straight. He looked horrible.B.Croyle won the contest with a throw of 68 yards.NFL teams should not be all giddy about this kid because he will end up being another M.Vick.He is overrated despite having a good game in the Rose Bowl.He is just too inconsistant. He should be moved to another position but will probably get a shot at qb where E.Crouch & M.Jones never did. What a joke!

He finished dead last???

Who were some of the other competitors?

What other skills did they contest? I'm sorry I missed it, sounds like it might have been fun to watch another hyped athlete show his "true" skills.

EDIT: Did the announcers point any of this out or make mention of it during the show? Edited by: White Shogun

Young might end up being this year's version of Aaron Rodgers, who was supposed to be a top three pick until close to the draft, then he fell like a rock. Given how poorly running black quarterbacks are doing in the NFL he will be a real risk for whoever drafts him.

I doubt young will drop because some team will be stupid enough to believe his "athleticism" will ge them to the super bowl. Rodgers only fell because no teams really needed a QB after San Fran that badly.Edited by: white lightning

Actually, Young finished second in that throwing contest. His first two passes went out of bounds, and his third pass went for about 65 yards or so. He ended up winning another contest that involved running a ladder and making a pass or two. That was the only parts that I watched.

I seen Drew Olson blew away the competition in the accuracy, but did step over the line a little bit and got 60 taken away.. Young came in 2nd or 3rd i believe... Croyle may have been 2nd

He finished second by throwing two passes out of bounds and his third for 65 yards? How bad were the rest of the guys in the competition?? Did they throw all three passes out of bounds??
