Here is why you need to teach your girls to fight.

Absolutely! I've been teaching all my kids about "street defense"...with a MTKB "101" base. My daughter is athletic, and has a (tad bit) of a "mean streak". I've shown her some of these kind of "girl fight" videos to prepare her (to be ready). We've worked on many "counters" to the 'hair pull' & haymaker/bolo punches. Thankfully, she also has some height/reach & is still growing.

I would have never guessed Rousey had subsaharan african in her. It's getting to the point if a white man wants to make sure he wants white children, he has to get his selected mate dna tested. You can hardly tell anymore.

If you know basic wrestling with judo tosses and trips it should be good enough to ward off basic muggers, sexual assaulters and thugs. I know this basic knowledge has helped me win a few fights in my high school days and probably could have helped me if I chose to bounce when I was built like a running back.

Yep. I know some "101" freestyle, CACC & Greco Roman. However, I wanted to teach her some basic strikes & street fight tactics first.

It was really great to see the miserable little feminist, Ronda Rousey, get obliterated once again. Perhaps all the comical talk of how she could “compete with men” is finally over, huh? I especially liked her “mean face” while the two women touched gloves. A mere 48 seconds later…

I feel no sympathy for her. She's a complete bitch, a hardcore feminist, a poor sport, and her game plan for the past two fights was simply moronic (she can't stand with a striker). Maybe now she can focus on pretending to beat up white dorks in TV commercials…

Hey fellow posters, I have to disagree with a few points made here. Rousey is not a loud mouthed neo-feminist, from everything she has said and posted/written, many interviews she believes in the equality of men and women but is not a Neo-Feminist. The women she has fought were the only fighters she could fight at the time, Tate being her toughest fight before Holms and Nun"ape". Tate submitted Holm then got submitted by Nunape, Holm ko'd Rousey but lost to Tate and Shevchenko, Shevchenko lost a decision to Nunape. Any given night anyone can beat anyone. Rousey has a big mouth no doubt fueled by Gomer White's greed for money. She got caught with a punch from a steroid monkey striker who is built like a man and couldn't recover, so what? I wouldn't get in the ring with her as she would put a beating on your average couch potato male, which I am one.

Yes I agree that women's MMA skill set is not the greatest but I enjoy watching them as they bring an energy level that most men's fights are missing. The women's straweight champion is quite skilled and has good fast striking is not a roid monster and is interested in men. In today's world a white woman who can fight and defend herself on the streets is needed especially in America's high schools and most of Europe where non white gang mentality is king and white women are the targets. I have three grown daughters whom I taught to fight and defend themselves at a young age and to this point only one of them had to use it in self defense(she broke the guys nose with a straight right then followed with a kick to the head) after he tried to grab her butt and breasts.

Rousey is militant female chauvinist of the highest order. However, like so many modern "feminists" (really imitation men) who believe in sexism when they don't like something a man does and chivalry when they do...she's a huge hypocrite who bemoans "gender equality" and talks about how she can beat up men, but then says she would never fight a man because "I don't think it's a great idea to have a man hitting a woman on television. I'll never say that I'll lose, but you could have a girl getting totally beat up on TV by a guy -- which is a bad image to put across."

I do agree with Sprintstar that women's MMA is wide open and anyone could win any fight. Rousey has major talent and could have beaten Holm or Nunes if they'd simply stuck with her world class judo/armbar gameplan.

I don’t pay much heed to women’s MMA (or, for that matter, MMA in general…) but the pre-Holm mega-hype surrounding Rousey piqued my “professional” curiosity. Everyone has already made plenty of highly pertinent observations covering all sides of the argument but I’ll add the following…

Like other bulked up, single-dimension grappling merchants Rousey shapes up in an awkward, maladroit manner and can’t throw or defend a punch for ****. Her pathetic belting at the hands, elbow and foot of Holly Holm exposed Rousey’s limitations and finally burst the glistening soap bubbles of best pound-for-pound fighter-on-the-planet and miscellaneous man-beating fantasies pumped out by the mainstream media blowers. Her second defeat appears to have permanently terminated the blowing…

In a way, she’s a bit similar to Brock Lesnar, who was also embarrassingly deficient in the striking / standup department and - like Rousey - couldn’t execute anything other than a basic low kick.

Rousey is like virtually every other high-end practitioner of judo - she is unable to cope with punches.
