I went through all the teams receiving AP votes (top 50)and this is what I came up with. Also, there are teams like Belmont, Princeton thatmight make tourney via conf. championship.Any teams to delete or add? thanks

--halfrican teams: Florida,Southern Illinois,Stanford,Vanderbilt, Wisconsin,Gonzaga,Ohio State,Michigan State.

--teams with lone star white dominate player or two:UCLA,N.Carolina,Arizona

Washington only has ONE white player who sees regular court action. not surprisingly, he is the team's best player. but this is a very frustrating development, seeing as how they were mostly white last year.

power forward Jon Brockman is a West Coast version of Tyler Hansbrough, and led the Pac-10 in rebounds and double-doubles last season.

Washington's senior combo guard Ryan Appleby will likely start when he recovers from a broken hand, though.

furthermore, i have already discussed many of the teams on your 'list' at length on this thread.

try reading a little bit before starting a new thread. it's worth the effort, trust me.

Brockman is a lot like Tyler -- loses $ every time he goes against a future
NBA big like happened to Hansbrough with Gonzaga last year and BYU
this year. Such is the fate of the 6-8, or in Brockman's case 6-7, post
player.

Wolfinger's also in the playing rotation. Artem Wallace isn't, thought he
would be this year.

good point about their future at the next level, but in college they are both completely dominant. they are like bigger versions of Corliss Williamson (a short, very strong post player who led the Arkansas Razorbacks to a National Championship). at the next level, they will be able to score. but the question is who will they be able to guard?

as for Wolfinger contributing, that was a good catch. he's averaging 12 and a half minutes a game, so i probably should've included him as a contributor. but the fact is, on the offensive end he's mainly just used as a screener, though he does hit enough jumpers (he's got range to the 3-pt line) to average right at 5 points a game.

Saw Wisconsin play at Michigan last night. It's a majority white rotation --
Brian Butch, Joe Krabbenoft and Jason Bohannan started, with Greg
Steinsma and Jon Leuer off the bench. Leuer, a 6-10 freshman, scored 25,
and made all five of his 3-pointers.

Michigan State is quietly going about their business and are once again poised to make a deep run, barring an injury to Neitzel of course.

Drew is playing excellent basketball.

on the frontline, Suton and Naymick are also doing a very good job despite how much GreatLakeState despises them.

Suton is second in the Big Ten in rebounding, and Naymick (who is an excellent leaper that never gets credit for his athleticism) is second in the Big Ten in blocked shots.

additionally, earlier this year Suton grabbed a carrer-high 20 rebounds in a game against Oakland. it was the first time an MSU player had snagged 20 rebounds in nearly 25 years!

he also tied an MSU record with 11 offensive boards in that game.

Naymick, meanwhile, has quietly emerged as one of the top post defenders in the country and is Michigan State's All-Time Leader in blocked shots. he had 4 mour against Northwestern on Thursday.

now, imagine what they could do if they had enough talent for GreatLakeState to think they deserved a scholarship.
