Yesterday Hunter chimed in on the Sheffield comments. He says blacks demand more to play and hispanics will play for much less. And then he goes on to say that "in ten years there will not be any blacks in baseball, at all". first off, who cares. It would suit me fine. But don't count on it. It is strange isen't it, that for the first time ESPN broadcast part of the baseball draft and there has been a big upswing in blacks drafted. And anytime blacks and media start moaning about the fact that there are not enough blacks in baseball, the numbers for their players increase dramatically. So here comes the blacks back to baseball.
