Publicity stunt or tempers flaring?

The article says that several boxing 'luminaries' were in Cancun to witness the coronation of Rahman as WBC champ, when *gasp* Toney and Rahman saw each other across a crowded room. It was words at first sight, which escalated into fists moments later.

No word who got the best of the exchange, except perhaps Don King Productions 'free publicity,' as Toney is Rahman's number 1 challenger.

Well, its news in the sense that it shows the difference between the man who just gave up the belt, Vitali Klitschko, and the two men who want to fight over it, Toney and Rahman. I guarantee you that you will never hear of Vitali or Wlad fighting in the lobby of some hotel because some guy mouthed off.

And furthermore, those two guys are fighting for the WBC belt. I'm paying attention to boxing because I want to know who Valuev / Maskaev / Wladimir, et al, is going to have to beat to unify the belts.

And it is a shining example of what is expected and heralded in Don King's America.

That's why I thought it relevant to post on this site, thank you.
