Did anyone see the post fight conference of the Adamek Cunningham fight? Cunningham said he thought he won the fight. I was also upset with the comment he made about "a big polish head."

The fight is now 2 days away. I am so excited! Cunningham is claiming Adamek is ducking him on a rematch. Cunningham may be looking for a fight with Maccarenelli in the near future.

Hah! What a sore loser Cunningham is, Adamek pulverized him (3 knockdowns) and he will get pulverized again. This should be another impressive win for Adamek.

Well Cunningham did land more punches but Adamek knocked him down 3 times. Cunningham's long reach was a problem for Adamek. Cunningham was able to land jabs fairly easily. When Adamek got inside Cunningham was at his mercy. Adamek is stronger than Cunningham for sure. With that being said Banks is not half the boxer Cunningham is and I expect Adamek to destroy him. There is no way he is going to lose this fight. You heard it hear first!!!! I guarentee a win!Edited by: whiteathlete33

I am well, ready for this fight.

Soon you will be in the ring against Johnathon Banks. What does this fight mean to you?

It's just another fight, it's my first title defense. It's a short time after the Cunningham fight so right now I am just happy to be right here in Newark and to show what I can do for all my fans, Polish and American ones.

What can you tell about your opponent? Do you have a lot of information about him? What are his strengths and weaknesses?

I don't want to speculate. We are going to see what's going on with Johnathon Banks tomorrow in the ring.

You wish to win by knockout or box 12 rounds?

I wish to win.

How was your preparation for the fight?

Eight weeks of hard work, as usual I was sparring and eight weeks of the training. Just hard work.

Who helped you prepare for this fight?

Zack Page and [some others] from Detroit were my sparring partners. And most important, Andrew Gmitruk my trainer

You had a great fight with Steve Cunningham. He wants rematch with you. Do you want such fight?

I have no problem with fighting Cunningham again. Let them bring a good offer from the TV network. This is a business, this is my job, so when it comes, it comes. I will go into the ring.

You have lost only once, to Chad Dawson. Would you like a rematch?

Yes, of course if Chad Dawson would gain some weight and be a cruiserweight why not?

With whom do you wish to fight most of all?

The more famous the fighter the better, I mean this is how you get recognition, this is how you gain popularity, fighting the most recognizable and famous fighters.

What your plans for the future?

Friday I am fighting Johnathon Banks and that is what I am concentrating on now. What the future holds only God knows. So I don't what will happen on Saturday or Sunday after the fight. Whatever God will bring will be fine.

Can anyone tell me about what time this fight will be? I read somewhere there is 7 fights scheduled but that is impossible to me. I know the fights start at 8:30 in Newark and Showtime televises at 11:00.

The fight is on showtime. It starts at 11. I am hoping that is the only fight they telecast but I doubt it. I expect a fight or two before.
