Tigers release Sheffield

The Detroit Tigers have finally rid themselves of clubhouse cancer and all around dickhead Gary Sheffield. The release is about 3 years too late. They waited for this roided up turd to hit his 500th dinger and milk that for the publicity now he's just a washed up old negro. I hope some other team picks him up so as to give every other team in the league a chance at a better season.

On other las Tigres news the team continued to show the incompetency of it's management by sending Ryan Rayburn to the minors. Rayburn has been up and down with the Tigres for the last couple of years because he is a caucasian outfielder which is in violation of the team's unspoken policy.

Also my favorite player Mike Hessmen has been waived. I can only hope some team will pick him up. He's a good fielding third baseman with power who can't play for the tigers because they have team mascot and subservient whiteboy Brandon Inge locked in at that position (no matter how many errors or strikeouts he accumulates.) Hessman may go to Japan to play, which he should because he is not appreciated here.

Actually the Rayburn demotion may be a good thing as he was sent down to make room for a guy they just traded for: Josh Anderson. Anderson came from the Braves and was described as "speedy" so naturally I assumed it was caste-speak for 'black'. But lo and behold Anderson is actually a good ol boy from Kentucky who led the NCAA in steals one year. So it's good news afterall. Best would be to rid themselves of one of their overpriced hispanics and bring Rayburn back up to play outfield and give the Tigers one of the whitest outfields in MLB.

The release of Sheffield is costing the Tigers 14 million this year. Imagine a team stupid enough to sign a known head case like Sheffield to 14 million when he's going to be 40! And he hasn't been any good for a couple of years, with injuries.

Also the Dontrelle Willis train is going off the tracks. Willis who is signed for 10 million this year is on the disabled list with "anxiety disorder", what a hoot. The Tigers can't keep him because he sucks and he can't pitch in the minors because he sucks there too. He doesn't have an injury and he isn't any good as a player. What to do? Make up a lame "anxiety disorder" and put him on the DL!

The Tigers are on the hook for around $20 million for Dontrelle Willis through 2010.

The team is really getting its money's worth for its star black acquisitions.

I saw on their depth chart the Tigers will actually have three whites starting, plus several white back-ups. An improvement for the Tigres I believe.

Yes, they have 3 whites but they are all journeymen. Gerald Laird at catcher, Adam Everett at SS and Inge at 3rd. As jaxvid said, it seems management has no interest in developing or letting their talented young white guys play at all.

Looks like The Mets just picked up Sheffield. He'll meltdown this team but not before he gets his 500th home run and possibly get into Cooperstown. He's all but using the Mets to try to get into the Hall of fame and get a check. Must be nice.

He won't make the hall as he was involved in the Balco scandal. Also 500 homers is the equivalent of 400 pre steroids. Sheffield would need about 550+ and to be a media good guy. He has been nothing but a cancer in the locker room and has said anti Hispanic things. Sheffield will have few friends in the Mets locker room. Edited by: white is right
