Thome - Just Behind Ruth in Career HR per AB - Proving he's one of the greatest ever

This is Thome's greatest statistic IMO. Let's take out the roid cheaters right off the bat - that leaves us with Babe Ruth #1 (he'll always be the best baseball player period), Howard #2, then Thome at #3 - better than mantle, mays, aaron, gherig, williams, you name it. Howard will fall down the list as he ages and the HRs get less frequent which will put Thome right behind Ruth. Thome is an immortal who has never been appreciated by a sick media.
