Notwithstanding the constant chant in the controlled
US media that the heavyweight division is now
"terrible", the heavyweight division today is by far
the strongest it has ever been, bigger and stronger and far more
international in scope than ever before - and the amazing Klitschko
brothers domination over it is unprecedented in boxing history. They
not only fight all comers, many previously undefeated, but they win
every round in doing so, and usually don't even get their hair mussed in
the process!

Not since Babe Ruth dominated baseball in the 1920's has any athlete so
dominated their sport as the amazing Doctor Klitschko brothers do the
heavyweight division today!

I couldn't have said it better myself. The media and fans are so biased that they just don't want to see the truth. It has been engrained in them since they were little that white men cannot box. Regardless of how many rounds won, knockouts or victories the K2 brothers score, it just doesn't matter. I can only hope that someday decades from now, that they get the respect and admiration that they deserve. I won't hold my breath though. The Klitschko brothers are the best heavyweights to ever step in a ring period!

In fact they are so dominant it hurts them. If they would lose a fight here or there or even look bad once in a while or god forbid, get knocked down then it would be harder for the skeptics to criticize them by saying the competition is weak. But those K-bros just make it look too easy. I don't even remember the last time I saw either one hurt by a punch? I know way back they lost but in the last few years they have been like machines. It also don't help that there's 2 of them, and they BOTH dominate.

Look at the supposed "Greatest One" Ali, that guy got his ass kicked dozens of time, even Iron Mike Tyson got his jaw broke, that gives the idea that the competition is at least capable of beating them--maybe.

The Klitchko's? No one's even been close in a long time.

No matter what the Klitchkos do, no matter how much they excell, the beady eyed media types won't give them their due. I recently ran across an article that had 6 foot one inch, 210 pound slow ass bully Sonny Liston knocking out a frightened Vlad within two rounds.

A dominant white fighter just isn't kosher to these types. As a matter of fact, they're the ones who are frightened, by real white men. So they have to resort to fantasies, using their favored surrogate, to deal with that fear.

Whenever a guy has a view that Liston or another small heavyweight would dominate Wlad or his brother ask them why aren't there any small heavyweights that seek and destroy fighters anymore. Silence will ensue....
smiley36.gif
Even on a cocktail of anabolic steroids, Liston would be 230 pounds and short and would be too slow to do much against the Wlad that only engages on his own terms.

The trouble is the Klitschko's are beating the past, i know it must hurt the media that we have great white fighters today, far too many to cheat or payoff. but thats not the real problem,
the big problem isup until the 90'sall of eastern europe was not competing in pro boxing,
and when they started their domination was so fast and completethat it would be natural for people to look on the over hyped champions of the pastwith skepticism, and i believe thats what the media is trying to guard against........

Liston, Clay, Frazier, they'd be very small in the ring compared with the modern super heavies, much too small and weak. Hype job Clay couldn't even legitimately beat guys weighing in the 180's without cheating, like Henry Cooper, Alonzo Johnson, and Doug Jones.

I never liked comparing guys from one era to another and making projections. For one it's impossible to factor in all of the different things going on from one era to the next, for another it's just plain stupid because you can never get any kind of resolution, it's just comes down to one's personal opinion.

You will note however that it is the only example of the modern sports media feeling that smaller poorer conditioned athletes from the past are better then the bigger, better conditioned ones of the present. I wonder why boxing is the only athletic example of guys from the old days being better then guys today??? Hmmmm what could be the reason for that????? Yup a real mystery.

I think it's pretty obvious the fighters of today are much better than the fighters of decades ago. At least twenty Eastern Europeans today would have beat fighters such as Ali and Larry Holmes. Todays' fighters are faster, stronger, and have better technical skills.

Hopkins just never gives up does he? Of course he's going to back Haye because he wants the Klitschko's to lose to a brutha.

Hopkins does the race bit for two reasons. 1. He is a bonified racists that still can't over the fact of Calzaghe beating him a couple of years ago and his brain can't wrap around that fact.

2. He does it to create controversy and hype his fights. So people can tune in, i.e. pay for PPV to see him lose, while at the same time line his pockets with cash.

Yeah, old bopkins is a bitter racists and kinda of smart to generate revenue for himself. And yeah, he can fight albeit in a boring style. I used to fight, and I marvel on how he can hang with a young guy around 26 years old. But I like every white racially conscious man what to see KO big time.

It's not the fact that he makes these comments that bothers me. It's the fact that he gets away with them just like every other black in this country. If a white person loses his career and everything over racial comments then a black should as well.

WA 33 your right. This cowardice or pass by the MSM or sports media is a major problem for America and Whites. It will never change until Whites get the balls and call them out on it. Dan Rafael at ESPN has done his part in calling out bopkins and gayweather for their racists rants.

I have lost DWF friends and have semi estranged brother over the castesystem and its co conspirators in the media.

Good post. Yes, lots of different factors from one era to the next. For one thing Americans were a much more rough and ready lot way back when, and for whatever reason - maybe more protein in the diet, better training, evolution (but my Cro Magnon ancestors were six feet tall 40,000 years ago!), I don't know - steroids, nah, I'm much bigger and taller than my European parents and I never took steroids - athletes are bigger and stronger now - and it's not really boxing "guys from the old days being better than guys today" in the august opinions of the hired talking heads and hacks on the controlled media or their dimwitted little parrots on the boxing forums, but rather just from the medium old days, namely the days when Negroes dominated the heavyweight division to be specific. That was "the golden era of heavyweights", or so they keep trying to tell us, and they wouldn't lie to us, would they?

Yep, the ol' double standard. It's in your face every day.

Yep. I don't believe either one of them ever fought a Russian or eastern European fighter, or for that matter a Cuban or African either.

Right, but i think it's clear that todays fighters are far better than the past,
I believe someone like Siarhei Liakhovich or Sultan Ibraimov would have cleaned out the 70's
heavyweight division, we can see what picking from the "At risk youth" has done
to the Amercian sports system, the eastern european system was to pick only the best,
that's why the Klitschkos have doctorates, and Mike Tyson couldn't even read.
the Amercian fighters of the past were just the best of a bad bunch and the fighters today are
just the best.......

While it is refreshing to see the Klitchkos dominate they way they do, you guys are dead wrong on the talent level in boxing being better today than past eras.<div>
</div><div>Is it better internationally? Absolutely. Is it better in America? Not a chance. Many of America's best athletes choose sports where they can make more money and have less of a chance of permanent physical damage. Boxing just isn't popular with big, young American athletes any more. Boxing has always been a sport that the down-trodden flocked to. It is also why you see so many Eastern European fighters dominating now. Many of the countries in Eastern Europe are in horrible economic conditions.</div><div>
</div><div>The Klitschko brothers could absolutely bang with any era in history. There is no debate about that. But consider the caliber of fighters they are destroying routinely wouldn't be close to top contenders in most other eras.</div><div>
</div><div>The heavyweight division right now in America is the worse it has been since Joe Louis's "Bum of the Month" back in the 40s.</div><div>
</div><div>And the only reason the Klit Brothers are not hallowed by the MSM is because they are not American. Americans love to root for fellow Americans and cannot stand when other countries (or athletes from other countries) dominate them. If the Brothers were American they would be two of the most popular athletes of all time... Smart, articulate, good-looking and white. Unfortunately the are from Ukraine.</div>

You are full of sh*t! We have all heard this before, from the media, over and over again.

If you'd like, I can explain this to you.

I got news for you. Lenox Lewis wasn't american. Either is Julio Cesar Chavez. Or Manny Pacquio and countless others. They don't like them because their white. Also the Klitscko's have a duel citizenship so they are more american than Pacquio yet people hate them. People in the US do not root for whites. They have been brainwashed by the media, schools and government. We are trying to wake people up. You need to do your homework.

People buy into the propaganda of the media, look at the 70's heavyweight division, Ali had little punch power and fought on his heels, Frazier was a one armed fighter who was alsolegally blind, foreman was a five round fighter who was slow even for a man his size and he only look good against men 30lb lighter than himself. norton's chin was so bad he would take an eight count just watching a heavyweight fight, only fullforce propaganda keeps them in high regard..
