I supposed you are referring to the super middleweight tournament? Abraham and Kessler will have no problems at all. Froch might have a problem if he fights like he did against Taylor. He can't give away rounds and then count on his power to bail him out at the end of fights.

This tourney is such a good idea I can't believe it is happening. All excellent fighters in great matchups. I'm looking forward to it. I gotta ponder on it some more before I predict though.

I'm ready. We have some big fights coming up. Long live the King along with the other great white fighters next weekend. Also we have Valuev hopefully knocking out David Gay and Vitali fighting again in December. Hoping for a white christmas!

The fight that worries me is Kessler vs. Ward in Oakland.

It's difficult for a fighter from Europe to be at his best in the US, especially in the Pacific time zone, because his body feels like he's fighting at 1 am to 6 am, a time when he's normally asleep.

It's easier for an American to fight in Europe, because he feels like he's fighting at a time he normally spars, in the afternoon from 1 pm to 6 pm.

So although Kessler's the best fighter in the tournament, he'll not only have the crowd rooting for Ward (which really isn't such a big deal) he'll have the worst time zone change possible.

Predictions:

Abraham will KO Taylor in a late round.
Froch will KO Dirrell in a middle to late round.
Kessler will KO Ward in a middle round.

But I'm not 100% confident of these outcomes, because all six are very good fighters and anything can happen.

Luckily I have Showtime. I will still look for a link though. If you are online next Saturday night pm me and I will provide a link. There is a reason to do it through pm.

Hi guys,

I think that M. Kessler will win this tournament.

C. Froch is gifted but he fights like an idiot - hands low, relying on his chin and his weird movements all could spell trouble... He'll beat Dirrel, though.

King Arthur, he's tough. He can't be stopped. Black people fear him. He couldn't beat Kessler - the Dane would jab his his head off.

My prediction: M. Kessler will dominate and his brilliance won't be reflected in the P4P rankings...

But the positive things is the Dane (with an English father) - I'm sorry, I had to add that, will become a more vicious monster because of it...

I personally think Kessler will win as well. He is the best fighter in the tournament however Abraham has alot of power and has a punchers chance. Froch vs Dirrell worries me a little. Froch has to fight for all 12 rounds and not rely on his power to bail him out in the late rounds like in the Taylor fight.

Just watched Youtube videos on Taylor and Abraham workouts. Man, Taylor looks ripped and fast. I always liked Taylor. He is not your typical afrolete. He is always repectful and humble.

Sadly for Taylor I see him getting KO'd in round 8. Aurther is just too strong and "deceptively" fast. He carries cement blocks in both hands and his chin is granite. Can't wait for the weekend.

Taylor is fast and there is no denying that. He doesn't have much power and has serious stamina issues. He can say that stamina won't be an issue this time but it will. Abraham will be able to knock him out.

Along with Abraham-Taylor, there's two other very good matchups on Saturday's Sauerland card:

heavyweight: Rene Dettweiler (24-2, age 26) vs. Gbenga Oloukun (17-1, age 26, WBO #9)

cruiserweight: Enad Licina (17-1, age 29, WBC #9, WBA #9, IBF #5) vs. Yoan Pablo Hernandez (19-1, age 24, WBC #7, WBA #10, IBF #13, WBO #12)

Then we have Dirrell the typical afrolete. You know, speaking in ebonics, making only half sense and disrepecting his opponent Froch. When they got into a stare down last night, Dirrell called Froch a "boy" can you imagine what the MSM in the USA would call Froch if he used that word. Yeah, another instances of the double standard. Man, I hope Frochy disconnects what consistutes a brain that Dirrell has from actually ever function for say 15 seconds!

Hopefully these great affletes lose quickly. The media and the DWF's will of course be rooting for the American blacks.

The Hock's been a ponderin' this one.

Here's my ranking according to their chance to win it all:

1 Kessler
2 Abraham
3 Ward
4 Froch
5 Taylor
6 Dirrell

Here's how I rank them in immature obnoxiousness.

1 Dirrell
2 Dirrell
3 Dirrell
4 Dirrell
5 Dirrell
6 Dirrell

Watching a replay of Frochy's great win over Taylor. He is going to have to use his jab more than he did in this win against the affelet. He gave up too many rounds which he could have won. Relying on his power to bail him out would be ill advised against a young fighter in Dirrell.

Definitely, Frochy is going to have to use alot more jabs and combations. He can not rely on his stamina, power or granite chin to win the day. Its going to be interesting.

I think you're right Westside. Don't know that much about Dirrell, but he's supposed to be slick, which Froch isn't. Which means Carl might fall behind again.

But Froch is one mean dude with a hell of a will to win, and I think that will be the difference as the fight goes on.

Hock, I hope so. But If I am Frochy you have to fight smart especially in this landmark tornamemt where the winner will be looked at as one of the best fighters PFP period. This thing is important for us period!!!

I was just reading the paper and Kelly Pavlik has picked Taylor to beat Abraham. He also said that he would have beaten Abraham and Taylor is too fast for King Arthur.

I really admire Pavlik, especially how he won the championship vs Sad Intentions, but he may be drinking what with this prediction. Abraham is going to knock Sad Intention Taylor's head off his shoulders with one of his jump hooks!
