8-0 win for man city yesterday.
Bernado Silva with a Hat-Trick.
Hard to believe this was the Liverpool team just 10 years ago.
Liverpool has indeed considerably darkened during the 2010s and are far from being a likable club. So far this season, among regular starters, they've featured 5 blacks with Mane, Wijnaldum, van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold, and Matip. Among their bit-part players, there are the blacks Origi, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Joe Gomez. At a minimum, Liverpool have 9 black players. Firmino and Fabinho are more racially ambiguous, and if they're counted as black, then Liverpool have 11 black players.
Among players that aren't black are the Egyptian superstar Salah and white starters Henderson, Milner, Robertson, and Alisson. White players Lovren, Shaqiri, and Lallana are only bit-part players currently.
American Christian Pulisic had big shoes to fill with superstar Eden Hazard departing Chelsea who is now coached by legend Frank Lampard. CP got off to a slow start this season but has been coming on like gangbusters of late. A while back he bagged a hat trick and this morning put in a goal on a stunning running header.
CP has left the game but they just brought in 18 year old midfielder wunderkind Billy Gilmour! It is over 2-0 Chelsea over Crystal Palace.
Hello, long time , no comment!
To be honest I don't actually watch much football anymore.
I'm taking a bit more notice this year because I put a fiver on Leicester to win the PL at 500/ 1 odds.
Yes , I know that's quite cynical, but I might as well make a few quid off ClownWorld!
As far as race goes the PL is an absolute clusterf**k & there are very few teams with a Majority-White starting XI.
Anyway, I'll post a comment or two periodically & I will promise to be fully prepped for Euro 2020.
The Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona ended in a goalless draw.
Barcelona started with 3 Spaniards, 2 Frenchmen, as well as ter Stegen in goal, and Frenkie de Jong and Rakitic in midfield. Messi and Suarez started up front. Their only black player is Nelson Semedo at right-back, who has failed to consistently start at that position.
Real Madrid started with 3 Spaniards, Courtois in goal, and Bale and Kroos. White Uruguayan Valverde started in midfield and so did the mixed Brazilian Casemiro. The mulatto Varane started at CB and the pitch black Ferland Mendy.
