The NBA's whitest team for the time being. The game they had today vs. the Lakers (a 109-108 loss) was certainly one their best of the season. Even though the team's playoff chances are very slim, at least they're a pleasure to watch. Unlike, the whites of Milwaukee, Orlando and Indiana, the white players of this team are HEALTHY, and ALL get significant playing time.

Jon Brockman - USA
Andres Nocioni - Argentina
Beno Udrih - Slovenia (19 points)
Sergio Rodriguez - Spain (9 points)
Spencer Hawes - USA (30 points)
Omri Casspi - Israel (23 points)

j41181 I thought they had the Lakers at the end, but could not close the show. The last shot by Kobe was unreal, they should have had Casspi on Kobe.

Oh well great game, I believe they beat the Lakers on Christmas Eve though. At stretches in the game the Kings had 5 to 4 whites running hard over the Lakers. This is a team I hope improves and one to watch.

Kobe got away with a push on Sergio Rodriguez (potential offensive foul). Still, I have to admit his game winning shot was amazing, one of the most dramatic shots I have ever seen. All thanks to Pau Gasol's amazing court awareness (the winning assist).

Suprising that Kobe didn't pull his patented "elbow the white player in the face" move.

Yes, the Kings are the best team for us right now, like j41181 said better even than Indiana and Milwaukee because they're all healthy. I am enjoying following these teams this year, plus to a lesser degree Toronto, Utah, Minnesota, and Orlando. Good to see J.J. Reddick doing a little better this year, and Kevin Love is turning into a beast.

Udoka missed two foul shots on the Kings last possession which would have put the game out of reach for Kobe. I was amazed to turn on a Kings game recently (against the Wizards) and see that all five guys on the floor were white. They increased the lead on the all black Wizards' lineup with the five whites out there. That is almost unheard of in today's day of pro black zealotry. 10 blacks on the court at once is o.k in a 13% black country, but a team having "the nerve" to put five white guys out there at once gets the race card played. I love the Kings and hope they can climb their way back into the playoff picture.

I'm a bit late posting this but it's still worth mentioning. On Sunday Beno Udrih had a triple double.

18 Pts
10 Rebs
15 Assists

It was the first of his career but hopefully not the last.

The Kings had a nearly all black roster this year (minus Udrich and Casspi) and finished pretty dang awful. So much for black athletic superiority.
