This guy is alot like all of us on this board.First off,he was one hell of a basketball player.Rick even
lead the NBA in scoring with 36 points per game back in
1967!He was and still is as competetive as they come.Barry is similar to the Great Pistol Pete.He has
not been allowed a coaching job in the NBA because he
will not take crap off of no one.He is a throw back.Rick
believes in the coach having complete power over the team which is how it should be.The NBA has black balled him out of the league. He is more than qualified to be an
outstanding coach.Rick would not put up with these over
paid,arrogant crybabies.That's why they won't allow him
a job.In the NBA,the players are in charge, not the coach.
Rick was on the Best Damn Sports Show tonight and went
off about Artest and the rest of the knucklehead athletes.Obviously,John Salley went against everything
he said.Bryan Cox was enraged to the point of exploding
on tv when talking about the incident.Cox was even worse
than Artest in his playing days if thats possible. They had to show the players side/being a black supporting show as always/so they had Billy Hunter/Black/the head
of the players union saying how he will take care of the
matter.Billy kept saying it wasn't that big a deal and the penalty was too harsh. What a crock of sh**. Anyways,
that show stinks but Barry is always a breath of fresh air and we need more guys like him these days. It's too
bad that he will never get a job.Whites cannot say what
should be said or they will be fired or never get hired!

I didn't see the show, but I could only assume that
they would take the side of the players. Bryan Cox is
the biggest buffoon in the media, no question about
it. He just doesn't have that much mental capacity.
It's that simple. He's dumb. Really, really dumb. He
makes the other former black athletes on TV look
intelligent.

And, of course, the white guys on the show are even
worse. Tom Arnold has even said that he "feels
guilt" over slavery. Idiot. Why should you feel guilty
over something that you didn't do? And over
something that every other race has also done?
Blacks, Whites, Asians, Hispanics, Arabs, everyone
has had slaves. But I should know that a
self-loathing, guilt-ridden, brainwashed coward like
Arnold can't understand that.

Rick Barry was as confident as they come. His sons are the same, but a lot has changed since Rick was The Man in the NBA 35 years ago. But slowly but surely the pendulum is beginning to swing back to the realization that basketball, like football and every other sport, is a white man's game.
