first, the only black player of bayern munich, jerome boateng, against an obscure german club (munchenglabach) in the first match of bundesliga:

you may have heard about paris saint germain recently, because they bought a lot of players with their quatari money

but they lost their first match, yesterday, and mamadou sakho played a major role in this defeat
even paris 's (black) coach said sakho was horrible
http://www.footmercato.net/psg-kombouare-pas-tendre-avec-sakho-et-hoarau_71040

i don't know if you heard about him, he is one of the most over hyped defenders in the world, he is only 21 years old, and he is already captain in a big club like paris saint germain, and bayern munich want to buy him, amongst other big clubs (milan ac for example)
in france the media says that he will be france's central defender for the next 15 years

but he is slow, not skilled at all (looks like he never played soccer)
so i made this video about his match against lorient (defeat 1-0) and his first match against bielorussia, his first match for france, in wich he was awful

http://rutube.ru/tracks/4703248.html?v=034c666fc889c81e8d4e6cc1f3f808e8

also, today, during the first match of the season for bordeaux, ciani scored a dumb own goal, and his team lost 2-1

today, the last goal of manchester united-manchester city was scored because of a terrible mistake by kompany and another black

http://rutube.ru/tracks/5242540.html
manchester city lost because of that....

this is awfull soccer for you, my friends !

tonight, "france" will play against chile
mexes is still injuried, so they will put abidal in central defence, so we can already imagine what mistake he will do

the last time he played, he scored an own goal

http://rutube.ru/tracks/5242583.html

i give you a little bit of raw talent from the french "ligue 1", not from this season, but i had to post these videos, they are classics

a goal from mandanda, nothing special, he does this all the time

this one is from this year:
http://rutube.ru/tracks/5252345.html

"better" than mandanda, we have apoula edel, the "armenian" goal keeper

this guy is magic

now ronald zubar, such a bad defender that he actually has compilations of his mistakes

look how he gets destroyed by archavine

what an athlete

i up loaded this one on rutube, from sakho
this guy is totally un-skilled
http://rutube.ru/tracks/4710243.html?v=4c967efc8eed7440e67094627cb3131c

even with mexes being injuried, laurent blanc doesn't put him in the team, because of his last match with france and his first match of the season with paris saint germain

These kind of black "physical" players are loved in the Premier League. They just can't get enought of them. In fact, Ronald Zubar now plays for Wolverhampton, while Newcastle is importing them from France by the boatload this year.

Where are the white defenders of yesteryear who could dribble, bring the ball out of the penalty area, pass, cross, play headers and even score? Franz Beckembauer, Gaetano Scirea (he never got a red card his whole career!) or similar types come to mind. It's a dying breeed.

That reminds me of Ledley King. Capello even picked him for the WC and he can barely play 2 games in a row. He played one game and was out the rest of the tourney. At least there are guys like Cahill, who Arsenal is considering, and Jagielka.

if some of you follow the MLS or dutch leaague for example, please post when you see a big mistake from a black defender, even if you don't have the video

OMG. I've just seen one of the worst defending blunders ever. It was some new black defender for Villa Real against Odense in a Champions League play-off qualifier. It resulted in Odense scoring and could ultimately cost Villa Real a season in the Champions League. Given how much the Spanish team needs the money from Champions League competition to stay competitive in Spain this could be one of the costliest defensive mistakes ever. I'm sure it will be up on Youtube soon. Five minutes later the commentator is still saying he can't get over what he just saw.

The defender's name is Cristian Zapata of Columbia.

it always reminded me of the clown, achille zavatta (a famous clown)
very appropriate

here it is

when you see things like this, you understand why so few teams won a champions league with one black central defender (5 teams in the whole history)
it is a very important goal
when a match is close, black central defenders make them team loose, it's like that
and it wasn't even an african defender, or worst, a black european, zapata is a south america, black, so he is a lot more skilled than the africans or, worst, the black europeans, but he just lacks concentration, coordination ect
it's ridiculous

Thanks for the video.

Villa Real should still beat Odense in the return leg. But if they concede a goal they'll need to score three because of the away goal rule.

Funnily enough Liverpool were trying to sign Zapata in the off-season but he rejected them to go to Villa Real. Liverpool fans must be having a laugh tonight.

I have posted the following montage before in the “Great Goals Threadâ€, but this is the appropriate place to display the defensive mastery of the one and only Frank “Own Goal†Sinclair:

Sinclair also played a major part in Chelsea’s 4-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United in the 1994 F.A. Cup final, when he:

(a) ploughed into Andrei Kanchelskis to give away a penalty, which was converted by Eric Cantona, and

(b) exhibited that famed Negro balance by inexplicably stumbling and almost putting his back out whilst allowing the ball to run through for Mark Hughes to score United’s third.

Cantona had already opened the scoring with a penalty, after the black Eddie Newton had committed a monstrous foul on Denis Irwin right under the referee’s nose. Here is the footage:

Newton’s exemplary piece of cool defending can be seen from the 1:00 mark, while Sinclair’s characteristic elegance is on show at 3:30 and 5:38.

And here is Gus Caesar from Arsenal during the 1988 League Cup final against Luton. Arsenal was winning 2:1 until 7 minutes before time, against the underdogs, but then thanks to the "heroics" of this titan, Luton managed to reverse the score and win 3:2.
You can see Gus (number 5) aimlessly milling around the penalty area then trying to call a (nonexistent) offside during Luton's first goal at 0:26, then comitting a blunder of epic proportions when trying to clear the ball out of the penalty area with absolutely no pressure whatsoever during the second goal around the 1:25 mark.

This guy was even called in the England Under 21 - amazing!
Gus was number 3 in The Times 50 worst footballers list . He is also mentioned (a whole chapter) in the famous football book "Fever Pitch" by Nick Hornby - an ardent Arsenal supporter who recounts his life through a series of Arsenal games. In this book Gus is described in the following terms:
“... painfully, obviously, out of his depth ... he looked like a rabbit frozen to the spot ... and then he starts to thrash about, horribly and pitifully...”

Gus Caesar :rofl:What a maestro! Caesar provided me with plenty of amusement during my high school years and was always the first example I used to puncture arguments about the supposed skill of black footballers.

Caesar had it all: the classic slave market moniker; the ****-scared look on his face which always bore the promise of a glaring defensive error; the awkward style; the dopey grin - all in all, the perfect embodiment of the black footballing ideal...

Here is Rio Ferdinand weaving a bit of subtle sorcery:

how about ciani, a french defender?
he was over hyped enough to play this friendly against spain

but after this humiliating defeat, he never came back in the french team

before the qualifications for the euro 2012, where i will be watching england and france, to see how bad and goofy smalling can be, and to watch a french black defense, a little video about a big failure in ligue 1, last year

pape diakhate
this name sounds familiar: it's because they all have the same name
last year, lyon planned to get theit champion title back
they had everything to do so, exept for their defense
in addition to aly cissokho, who has been heavily critisised, they had pape diakhate
and pape was REALLY bad
he came from dynamo kiev

i remember this match, in wich lyon lost the title this year
http://rutube.ru/tracks/4290446.html?v=833c48756ecf2c1af0eb4670e39e490a

as you can see, pape got a red card, and gave the other team 2 ridiculous penalties
the funniest part is the reaction of the players themselves

in this video, sub tittled in english, you can see how furious lloris was
and you can also hear another voice (i think it's cris) that talks about "pap'" , pape
he says "on avait dit pas de penalty pape" or "we said no penalty pape!"
he is really being manhandled

after that, pape returned to kiev, and lyon bought another worthless black defender, bakary kone (again, a familiar name, same as bakary koné the foward from marseille, but this koné is defender, and lyon found him in french ligue 2)
