This kid reminds me a little bit of Luke Staley from a couple of years ago.Nick led the nation in average rushing yards per game last season & is still improving with every game.Watch out for this kid! http://brownbears.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/hart igan_nick00.html
Nick had 88 yards rushing and 4 catches for 41 yards receiving today in a hard fought victory.Hartigan is very versatile and can catch as good as he runs with the ball.
Nick Hartigan had 176 yards rushing today in a close game with Penn.Nick weighs in at 220 lbs and is as powerful as they come.He has the perfect size to play in the NFL but he is only a junior. He will almost have to come back to continue to make a bigger name for himself next year.
Nick finished the season with over 1200 yards rushing. He has proven that he can take the pounding that a NFL back takes with out getting hurt.He never misses a snap.
haven't watched this guy personally, but he got a mention on Fox Sports on ye olde internet after his performance last week that caught my eye: Brown running back Nick Hartigan showed Rhode Island how they do it in the Ivy League with 252 yards rushing and four touchdowns. additionally, Hartigan was named the National I-AA Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the Ivy League's Offensive Player of the Week, and the I-AA.org National Weekly All-Star. he is also just 43 yards short of breaking Brown's all-time rushing mark. Brian had 28 rushes for 124 yards and a touchdown today and broke the All Time Brown Rushing Record. He is already the 4th best Ivy League Running Back of all time with a little over half a season left of football.I really hope the NFL gives him a shot!He deserves it.Here is a link with the article. http://brownbears.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/recaps/1 00805aaa.html
You mean Nick don't you whitelightning? I know it can get confusing trying to keep up with all these guys.
You mean there not the same guy.Ha.ha.lol.Thanks for pointing out my mistake. It's too early to be tired. What a great game for Nick Hartigan.Week after week he just mows them down, team after team.
He does it again.Nick Hartigan had 38 carries for 245 yards in another Brown Victory. He will probably get the player of the week honors again.Nick has shown why he is a all american. One of his touchdown runs was for over 70 yards breaking many tackles. Here is a link. http://brownbears.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel /101505aaa.html
Coming into the game,Nick was leading the nation is rushing. Here is a article that states that fact.He is averaging 165 yards per game.Holy cow! Here is the link. http://brownbears.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel /101905aaa.html
Brown goes to 6-1 on Nick's 39 carries and 167 yards! He scored 2 TD's on the ground. Nick also had 2 catches for 5 yards. Nick's rushing total is now 1,113 yards in 7 games! That makes it 3 1,000 yard seasons in a row! Way to go Nick!
Nick Hartigan is still leading the nation in Div IAA Rushing Yards at a amazing 159 yards per game. The overall leader in Div. IA is not that far ahead of him.I would love to see Nick lead both Divisions and the whole country in rushing again. He did it last year and might just end up doing it again. This kid can carry the ball between 30 to 40 times a game and never seems to get hurt.He is as tough as they come. Will the NFL give him a chance?I doubt it but I sure hope so.This kid is far too good to just be blocking on Sundays!
Nick had 33 carries, a whopping 192 yards, and 3 TD's today in a 38-21 win over Yale! He also had 2 catches for 12 yards and a TD. He now has 1,305 yards rushing this year with 15 TD's and still 2 games to go. Total yardage for this season is 1,334 yards, with 16 TD's. His yardage per carry is now 5.3, and his yardage per game is 163.125! All I can say is WOW!
Make that a Double Wow,Holy Cow!!Ha.ha.ha.This kid is flat out amazing. He carries the ball 30 to 40 times and still seems like he could play another half of football.I have rarely ever seen any athlete, let alone a big, huge running back have that kind of endurance. He is simply incredible. He is probably the best Ivy League Running Back of all time and deseves more praise as one of college footballs best over the last few years! He better be invited to the NFL Combine.I would love to see him be the next Alstott.I don't know of many teams though that would let him touch the ball.He is white after all and the NFL just won't have it!
I saw him for the first time. He was featured in Chris Berman's Top Ten Plays (which is more like Top Twenty or Thirty Plays.) He did something special, something like 4000 yards for his career, and is now in an elite category among Ivy League RB's, I forget exactly. It's nice to see a white RB featured on ESPN, even if it's brief.
Nick had 193 yards and 35 carries in a 24-14 win over Dartmouth today. He also had 3 catches for 37 yards. Way to go Nick! That makes it 1,498 rushing yards with one game to go!
Simply amazing.Incredible.Outstanding.I don't know how else to describe this kid.He is as good a running back as you will find anywhere. If only he played for a school where we could actually get to see him run the ball on national tv.One morg regular season game and the off to the Bowl Game.Brown has had a heck of a year behing the superb running of Hartigan. Will the NFL give him a chance?Only time will tell.
Nick is now up to number 3 in rushing yardage in I-AA! If he has a great game this week, he could get the number two spot for the season! Go for 300 yards against Columbia Nick!
The Brown Bears win their first ever outright Ivy League title on the legs of Nick Hartigan! He ran for 229 yards and 3 TD's on 31 carries! He also had an 8 yard catch. That makes it 1727 yards on the season. I know a Rhoades Scholarship to Oxford, England is an awesome offer, but please Nick, give the NFL a try! We need guys like you! Edited by: Colonel_Reb
Nick broke the all-time Ivy League record for touchdowns with 54. Also, Brown wonits first ever outright Ivy League championship this year.
