Ed Pricolo continues to put up amazing numbers week after
week!He had 22 touches for 153 yards today in a blow out
win.Ed should be leading Div. II now and should move up
to 3rd in the entire college Div.I & Div. II for rushing
yards.Ed has everything that you could ask for in a running back.He can make you miss, run you over, and out
sprint you to the end zone.Ed is only a junior like Hartigan and continues to improve!

Ed Pricolo has already broke the school record for yards
in a season with 5 games left to go in the season not
counting a bowl game.He has 1090 yards and counting.You
guys have to see this guy run the ball.He is special!

Ed now has 1248 yards rushing in only 8 games. He had
36 touches for 158 yards and 3 td's this week. Pricolo
is averaging a incredible 156 yards per game and remember
that he is only a junior!

Ed had 12 carries for 91 yards before leaving the game in the early 3rd quarter in a 28-10 loss for S.Heart.He
snapped his 8 consecutive 100 yard games streak only because he sprained his ankle severly.Earlier in the game
he had a 61 yard touchdown run.It's such a shame that a
injury cost him the streak and the chance to lead the nation in rushing. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Ed Pricolo is now up to 1339 yards rushing on the season.
He wants to try and break the 2000 yard mark next year.If
it were not for a few blow out wins this year & the sprained ankle last week,he left game in 3rd qtr.,he would have had a chance to come close this season. He will
be a senior next year and I think he will pull it off.

I hope you dont get your hopes up too much. A few years ago there was a white runningback from South Dakota State named Josh Ranek. Ended u p 2nd all time divisions 2 rusher. Drafted in 7th round by cowboys and cut, now stars in the CFL. What a kick in the nuts that was. After seeing that unfold and hearing scouting reports of how he was too slow, even though he ran a 4.4 to a 4.5 forty. I then gave up all hope i had of theNFL having awhite tailback. But thats just me... keep opptimistic

I believe that the leader in the nation right now for all Divisions is Sean Mayer who is white. You also had running backs like Brian Shay and RJ Blowers who set just about every record that a college rb could set but
the NFL didn't take them seriously.I still hoping that one of these kids break through the racial barriers. It
is a uphill battle.

Get ready for Ed Pricolo. He is a senior and wants to lead
the nation in rushing. This kid is so good that I wouldn't
put it past him.Hopefully he can have a huge year and get
invited to the college all star games & then the nfl combine.Pricolo is as tough to tackle as any back in the
country. He literally will make people miss all over the
field.Good luck to him this season!

This kid is one to watch this season. He just might be the best running back in the country. He has some moves that will remind you of B.Sanders who was one of the few classy backs to play.Pricolo reminds me so much of the movie Brians Song. The name just brings back memories of Brian Piccolo. This kid is the real deal and deserves a shot to play on Sundays.Incredible speed and can cut on a dime.We will have to root him on in his pursuit to lead the nation in rushing.

Pricolo had 21 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown today in a blow out loss.Sacred Heart got down big early and had to resort to passing almost the whole 2nd Half. That kept Pricolo from having alot bigger game. The whole team just played flat today on defense. It's only one game though and with Ed averaging over 150 yards per game last season, they will bounce back next week!

This kid is a superstar.Unfortunatley,he plays on a bad team at Sacred Heart and never gets on tv.Ed had 26 carries for 171 yards today and scored 3 touchdowns. He almost single handed won the game for them. They lost 22-20 in a heart breaker. The offensive line isn't even that good but Pricolo makes something out of nothing. He has moves like B.Sanders as I have said before. This kid can do it all and he is only a junior.I just hope that they can win some games because the team as a whole sucks.Keep up the great running Pricolo.

Come on guys, give Pricolo some love. This kid is amazing and I am the only one posting about him.He could easily be a huge star at any college if he was given the chance.Have any of you guys seen him play on tv?Watch him play and tell me what you guys think.Picture Tre Smith but faster and with more moves.

That's funny Jimmy. He is a very gifted running back.If I can tape one of the games,I will.Did you ever get to see Dusty Stamer play before he gave up football for track. This kid is similar in speed and moves but probably even more elusive.Maybe a little slower since Stamer was a 10.21 guy in the 100 but Pricolo can really run like the wind.I just think we need to support some of the smaller school guys too because they should be playing in Div.I but got screwed.Keep up the great posts Jimmy on college football.I love all the teams just like you do!

A rare blowout win today for Sacred Heart to raise their record to 1-2.Pricolo didn't play that much as he had a ankle sprain but still managed to get 79 yards rushing in the win.

Ed didn't have a sprained ankle. Perhaps they kept him out because they didn't need him for the win. He needs less then 200 yards to break the school record.

Pricolo had 103 yards rushing today and is now only 46 yards away from becoming the schools all time leading rusher.Sacred Heart lost again though to fall to 1-3.It is a one man team.He doesn't have a whole lot of help.

Ed Pricolo had 18 carries for 113 yards today in another big loss for Sacred Heart. It has been a very dissapointing year for the team.He puts up his yards every week even in blow outs where he doesn't get as many carries as he would in a close game. It's too bad because this kid can really play.

whitelightning, isn't Ed the all time leading rusher for Sacred Heart now? I hope he keeps on running so that no one ever gets close to his record.

I'm 99% sure that he is now.I will have to double check but I would put money on it.I wonder if the NFL will give a chance to guys like Pricolo and Hartigan. They obviously deserve it with what they have both accomplished!Good luck to them the rest of the way.

as WL keeps pointing out, Pricolo is a one-man-band. he ran for a 77-yard touchdown on his team's first play from scrimmage last week, but after that it all went downhill in a hurry.

All those involved with the Sacred Heart football program can only hope Saturday was, far and away, the low point of this season.

In a game played in a driving rainstorm, the Pioneers got torched by the Monmouth passing game, gave away points with poor special teams play and had virtually no success on offense in an unsightly 45-14 loss to the Hawks before 1,132 at Campus Field.

Ed finished the game with 113 yards and another loss.

Ed ran away with the game today, as Sacred Heart beat St. Francis to move to 3-5 on the year. Ed had an awesome 232 yards on just 21 carries, an incredible 11 yard average per carry! He scored 5 TD's along the way, including a 50 yarder! Way to go Ed! He has more than shattered the schools career rushing record now, and I doubt anyone will get close anytime soon. Ed now has two 1,000 yard seasons back to back! With today's effort, he has 1,019 rushing yards, with 2 games to go!
