Assist being led by De Bruyne

Nice post. Thanks. Some truly speedy white players to boot.

And of course at number 4 is Norwegian 19 year old wunderkind Erling Haaland who plays for Dortmund. Right behind him is the electric German Timo Werner who I got a good chance to look at during the 2018 World Cup. He is only 23 and moves like the wind.

With the Olympics coming up ( we hope) this summer I would think a lot of the players listed in the top scoring column above will be out on the pitch for their respective countries.

Lewandowski has had an incredible season, scoring 51 goals in 43 appearances. He will without a doubt go down as an all-time great striker.

Ronaldo and Messi continue to perform at the highest level well into their 30s. Messi has concluded the season as top scorer with 25 goals and top provider with 21 assists in La Liga. At 35 years of age, Ronaldo has 28 goals in Serie A, trailing league leader Immobile by 1 goal.

In the Premier League, Vardy leads with 23 goals, followed by Englishman Ings with 21 goals. Ings has had a spectacular season with 24 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions. Ings has scored an impressive 8 goals against Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester this season. After being sidelined in January-March through injury, Kane has come roaring back, and he now has 23 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions.

In France, the diminutive Tunisian player Ben Yedder has 18 goals to lead the league.

Raheem Sterling has engaged in a bit of stat padding. He has 27 goals across all competitions, but 6 of those goals have come following Liverpool clinching the title. In 15 league appearances from November-February, Sterling scored only 4 goals.
