Just imagine if a white player punched Jamarcus Russell or Vince Young. The player would be gang assaulted by many, many other black players on the team. The player would be instantly cut, and probably banned from the NFL by "old school" Roger Goodell. The jock sniffers on ESPN would be outraged, and the player's name would become synonymous with evil, much like John Rocker. In this case, this clown (who I've never heard of), will suffer no real consquences. Brady Quinn, however, will lose a little more confidence. I'm taking a wild guess that no teammate sprung to his defense when he was attacked (whether it was a sucker punch or not) by the much bigger, far less known player. I'm also guessing no one, except Quinn perhaps (and that's no sure thing), is even upset about the "incident." Quinn now knows that his black teammates are not truly on his side, something all young white QBs realize at some point. It's truly amazing that any of them can succeed.
