Oh well I guess I'm wrong, so the whole "caste-system" thing must be a mistake too. Sorry everybody, there is no discrimination against white athletes, as GLS has pointed out it's just a case of mistaken identity.

everyone knows i'm a huge fan of Hansbrough. but he did get away with a walk on that dunk.
just like in the NBA. so maybe that bodes well for his future at the next level.
edited to add: lost in the noise of Hansbrough dunking on that huge dude, Bryan Smithson put up 25 on UNC. Smithson is UNC-Asheville's leading scorer at over 17 a game. and listed at just 6-0, he also had a nice dunk.
he's a white guy, but his bio pic on the team's home page is just awful! somebody get that guy some sunscreen!

Been watching him since his Freshman year of High School. Tenacious on the boards and has been dunking on folks ever since. I was there when he and his brother (Ben now playing at Mississippi St.) took it to St. Louis Vashon (historically and all-black high school that has been nationally ranked and won many state titles) and their 6-10 big man who was supposed to be a D-1 talent but didn't make the grades to get in. Tyler dunked on him about 6 times and Poplar Bluff blew them out in a game where PB wasn't "supposed" to win. You either bend to Tyler's will or he will break you!

You are right Jimmy C, Hansbrough did get away with a walk on that dunk but it was still nasty and I hope his power game translates well for the NBA or will he suffer from white man foulitis at the next level. I also saw Smithson's dunk and it's amazing to see a 6-0 white man get up that high. Usually any white athlete 6-3 and under will just layup the ball whether he can actually dunk or not.

I just watched the video of Tyler`s dunk for the first time and a thought occurred to me about Kenny George. When Shawn Bradley was in the NBA, how many times did black players and commentators say that the only reason he was in the NBA was because of his size, that he had no talent whatsoever? How many times have we heard such racist comments about white centers for that matter?
Sowhen Kenny George is in the NBA and is put in a game or twomerely tooccupy space and foul a few guys, I hope they remember to say the same thing because he really doessuck.
